This one gets its own post as its been a hell of a journey, last September the car suffered a huge piston failure on a european trackday - it was a built engine under warranty (just) and thus went back to the shop who built it. However with level of damage and broken bits a rebuild was not achievable in the time frame. We sourced a brand new crate engine from BMW and the car was transported here. Some delays in seals/gaskets etc dragged it out a little but as of last week the car is on the road and back to the customer after 100 miles testing. I’ll see it again for an oil change and check over before it heads back off for some nurburgring action in a few weeks time. Got an E92 with a blown engine? Get in touch for pricing on a brand new sealed motor from BMW supplied, fitted and tested.

Another manic month, Grey Alpine A110 in for a load of goodies including 2 sets of tyres, dampers, service. Wheel alignments been super busy with 2x MK1 Focus RS’s, Focus ST, and a couple of Elise’s. Red Elise in for some new rear lights and Air con repair, black S1 exige in for a supercharger rebuild, pedal box refresh an cooling fan. Silver/blue Elise for service and headlight upgrade. MX5 in for tyres and a new radiator. The white Alpine A110 in for pre season service, new wheels with sticky tyres and some undertray ducts. Cant forget the panda 100bhp either! Major service, brakes and tyres on that one. All the cars that come through the workshop still using fluids as always. No compromise.

Another month in the bag, more cars through the workshop. Customer trackday in the E92 M3 GT4, super wet one day we will actually be able to use the slicks. Fiesta race car and a lovely exige 380 having geo work. Mk1 TT for a service + exhaust. M140i for a big service using a mix of motul fluids and genuine parrs. And then lastly a stunning Elise Cup250 finished off and handed back after a giant suspension refresh, using 2 different colour which really does look great against the blue paintwork.

Well what a mad start to the year, so busy in the workshop. Ill try my best to do a round up. V6 exige 410 in for whats becoming a popular underside deep clean and protection, geo, lightweight battery from and a list of other jobs.
S2000 in for a clutch+flywheel, big service and tyres. The wheel alignment ramp stack with drift cars, lotus’s and another Alpine A110. New renuault 5E in for lower springs. Not to mention the endless servicing, MOT’s etc. Absolutely mental and the sun hasnt even come out yet

Last few jobs from last year completed, Silver VX220 for a major service, cambelt and replacement turbo. Very special super low milage Elise for an engine refresh with some upgrades on black series ECU making 250bhp with a stock non charge cooled set up. And the red VX220 in for a major suspension refresh, service and radiator replacement from . The last photo an idea of the jenga i have to play to get all the cars in overnight! More special cars to create in the coming months. But for now, door shut, heating on, music on, coffee in hand and head down!

Well not quite the end to 2025 that i hoped for. House move 6 days before xmas should have been the icing on the cake however 2 days in i came down with the winter super flu thing and it wiped out essentially an extra week off work with a breif visit to A&E meaning some delays and set backs in the workshop. I dont usually post about illness however i cant think when ive ever had to have an entire week off - still not up to full strength now! Apologies to those of you who were caught up in the delay - if i havent been in touch yet i will be. The workshop is closed now until Jan 5th, that will be the first full day in almost 3 weeks so be gentle 😂 heres some snaps of the last few cars to leave before the big guy and his sleigh arrived.

Little round up of recent stuff, customer trackday and first outing of the new (to the owner) Factory E92 M3 GT4 car. Safe to say a great day, many many laps and only a small missfire at the end of the day. Grey exige was sadly kicked off for being just 0.8db over by the noise police 🙄 and the blue cup 250 came straight back to HQ for some winter upgrade. Back in the workshop MK2 TTRS in for some dampers and secondary cat removal. Some finishing touches on a special engine instal before mapping and the start of the suspension refresh season! Much blasting and powder coating to come over the next few weeks.

New car day yesterday for a customer, 1 of 60 Clark Edition Lotus Emira’s. Collected from the factory and quite a special handover with one of Jin Clark’s original race cars to show where the design was inspired from. We then loaded the car up and delivered back safely home where it can be tucked away until better weather.

Still super busy as the dark nights draw in, Alpine A110 and S1 elise 2 of 5 cars collected last weekend, S2000 for some prep work ahead of a triple header European track day, 500bhp VX220 having a geo, lovely single turbo Supra in for some manifold gaskets, MX5 in for brakes an MOT and another VX220 in for some CV boots, wishbone bushes and dampers. Onto the next batch!

Winter drawing in now but no let up on the work here - Exige 390 final edition for service+mot, Alpine A110 for front brakes and geo, VX220 VXR for tyres and lack of power, , S2 Elise stripped down for an engine refresh, VX220 turbo in for major recommission and turbo recon topped off with the final round of at silverstone with the Lotus 20/22

Still super busy through the workshop, couple of VX220’s for some service work and replacement radiator (the orange car having just 9k miles from new! V6 exige for a clutch replacement, 718 boxster for a major service, quick geo on the civic. Then finally a new race car collection for a customer - Factory BMW E92 M3 GT4 car - you’ll see more of this car soon!
