Congratulations to marvellous Molly who took her test in her own vehicle and passed this morning in St Helens. Molly has been an excellent student and has really took all advice on board. Amazing Amelie has only gone and passed her driving test on the first attempt! 🥳 It was an early start for Amelie this morning but the result made the early start worth it! Congratulations to marvellous Molly who passed her driving test this morning at St Helens test centre. This was Molly’s first attempt at the test and she only picked up two driving faults which is a fabulous result and one that she should be very proud of! A huge congratulations to Nathan for passing his driving test at first attempt this morning at St Helens test centre. The examiner commented about how calm he was and that he’d had a lovely drive. I’m so proud of Nathan. He’s worked hard for this positive result and has asked some excellent questions in his lessons as well as taking on all advice and feedback. Congratulations to Liv on passing her driving test at first attempt this morning at St Helens Test Centre. A great drive from Liv, recording only four driver faults and managing to control her nerves as she went round the route! Even better news for Liv as she’s just got a new job and driving will certainly make her new role easier to fulfil. So pleased and proud of you Liv. A huge congratulations to Ruby who has passed her test with just 4 driving faults at St Helens test centre this week. Ruby fought off her nerves valiantly and kept her cool throughout the route. I shall miss our chats in the car but am so pleased for you and proud of you. Good luck with university, I’m sure that you’ll take all the demands of Durham in your stride. Fabulous lesson with Ben this morning with a focus on manoeuvres. We introduced reverse bay park and quickly found a turning reference point. Ben then completed some target bay practice and even practiced parking between two parked cars with great success. We then moved on to forward bay park with Ben using his own spacial awareness and just needing a little advice on how much steering to use to successfully park. Well done Ben. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next week 👍🏻

Ask any of my past students or those who are approaching their driving test and they will confirm that the first mock test that we conduct is very difficult to pass. This is generally because we’ve put the student in for their mock test early as we are using it as a learning tool. It gives the student an idea of what to expect in the real driving test but it helps us to see where the gaps are in the student’s performance and allows us the time to plug those gaps.
On Friday, Molly achieved a test pass in her first attempt at mock test with a relatively clean drive. We have a few things to polish and some areas that we need to develop but it really was an enjoyable drive where she left the passenger (me 😉) feeling completely at ease and safe! Well done Molly, I know that you and mum are putting the miles into your independent practice and this really helped you to shine! 🤩👏🏻🥳 keep up the good work, I’m very proud of you!

Looking forward to welcoming Liv back into the car today after a short break for work and holidays. Prior to the break, we had spent time focussing on her manoeuvres and Liv displayed great control and safety awareness whilst performing them. Keep up the good work Liv 🤩👍🏻
