drift league round 2 at driftland scotland.
my top 8 battle with Alex Williams.

I new I was going to have to put an mega lead and chase down alex is a top driver so I new it was going to be a hard battle.

I had a de-beed on my lead run which put me at and 0-10 to Alex I pushed hard in my chase bur sadly Alex kept it pinned and took the win.

Round 2 of of drift leauge at driftland, scotland.

we had problems with the power steering belt all weekend long, its somthing we thought we had fixed with a new pully and pump but as the weekend went on it continued to throw belts.

lucky I qualified high enough to give me a BYE run into top 16 and then sadly Clarke Hatton had to bow out early due to car issues so I got a BYE run into top 8 where my belt left the chat again.

The standing so far!
Sitting in 1st 2 rounds in can we keep the top spot at round 3?

What a shake up of the order round 2 was! Even bringing pro class 2 driver Alex Williams into the hunt.

Will round 3 be another complete shake up? Are we in for the wildest championship chase?

This couldn't be more true!

My dream of becoming a drifter started with sitting in a drift car 3 1/2 years ago.

Sometimes in motorsport, a weekend doesn't go to plan. Results don't always reflect the effort, dedication, and sacrifices made behind the scenes.

But it's worth remembering that while drivers might be disappointed with a result, somewhere there's a young fan with their posters on the wall, their stickers on a notebook, and their cards carefully collected and treasured.

To kids like this young lad, these drivers aren't defined by one event or one result. They're heroes, inspirations, and the reason they dream big.

Success isn't always measured by trophies. Sometimes it's measured by the impact you have on the next generation. 💙🏁

Drift League GB round 2 recap

The track conditions where a complete change from Friday's practise, it was pretty wet to start off and as quali went on the track got patchy.

After a sighting lap to test the conditions my 1st run came in at 77.7 which i new I could do better.

Lap 2 I managed to clean up some of the clipping points but still running a couple of Bs but bagged an 81.7 giving me a bye run in the top 32

We are nearly half way through the season already and the car and its components have really been put the the test.

provided me with a pro lock kit, hand brake and shifter and i can honestly say they are great quality, perfect for drifting and easy to use and fit aswell as looking great.

The lock kit give so much angle making it easier to adjust to smaller movement when on track and chasing, its well engineered and you can feel the quality in each part.

The hand brake and shifter again amazing quality well built and make driving that little bit easier knowing you've got good components on board.

I would hands down recommend and will be using them in all of our future builds!

Friday practise went well just abit of cleaning up to do this morning and we are ready for round 2 to kick off
