K20 civic absolutely WALKED by one of my tuned turbo C2 VTS’s! Bone stock engine C2 btw.

Wheel spinning was the only reason he couldn’t keep up early, we all know it takes a lot of power to catch back up at these speeds, at this rate 🤣

Customer absolutely chuffed, walking Type R’s, Stock Golf R’s etc.

Mapped for Guto Williams. Turned up to 13psi, torque limited midrange in order to prevent engine damage.

Car came to me as a complete non starter due to injector upgrade and severe vacuum leak.

Resealed inlet manifold but and low rpm the Chinese injectors would not respond to lower injection times 😕 after trying to put it off, I supplied and fitted genuine ST225 injectors for the customer.

I installed a boost gauge and 3 port boost controller, and tuned closed loop boost control as well as fuel and ignition maps, to make this car a little ripper!!

End result shouldn’t be too far off of 230bhp or 200whp! Torque this thing has is immense 😉

Here’s a fun one out of North Carolina, USA.

Toyota Vitz, commonly known as a MK1 Yaris here in the UK, needed tuning for a HKS turbo kit. 1.0l 4 pot engine.

DET3 + 4 bar ECU in Standalone mode.

Owner Nick couldn’t get it to start or get a crank signal, so after some diagnosis over the phone and remotely from at home here in the UK, and a crude drawing of mine to help him wire it up correctly, I figured out the wiring was incorrect and so the stock ecu was seeing no crank signal.

After this, it was a case of fully writing a base map, trying to get it to fire up and then figuring out if it wanted more or less fuel on idle, as the AFR gauge won’t fire up if only running for a short period of time.

And finally, I can now present, a base tuned running turbo MK1 Yaris, courtesy of JP4 SAFI!

1.8 7AFE that’s been turbocharged. Corolla Wagon I believe? Not sure if we get these in the UK.

Car wouldn’t start, so spent some time getting it running and setting up a base file before he hit the highway whilst I controlled his laptop from here in the UK!

Told the owner to message me for any info/help as he is going to fully smooth out the AFR’s after I got them in the ballpark using videos and logs.

Anytime anyone needs adjustments to any of my maps, is completely free to you! All my tunes come with unlimited assistance, expect for any extras/power!

203 wheel horse power made ~230bhp and 315nm at the engine.

Clutch slipping and trying to use ignition re**rd to make less torque at around 3k, but didn’t quite hold it back enough.

Boost limited at 12 PSI instead of 15psi at around 6.2k rpm as the factory fuel pump can’t keep up. Holds a solid 15psi until 6.2k rpm.

Realised halfway through the third run that the dyno fan wasn’t running and heatsoaking 😂

Proud of this little car. Needs a clutch and a pump to go any further. Correct stock ecu seems to fix everything doesn’t it 😉

C2 VTS, 208gti turbo, ST225 injectors. 2.25inch intercooler.

DET3 standalone ME7.4.5 main ECU with timing hack in place.

NA test done with a BADASS intake and stock exhaust decatted.

Fantastic direct bolt on upgrade for a tad more lag but much better power output!

JP4S 🔛🔝

Gave James some more power and applied my ME 7.4.5 software hack to allow full timing control.

Had to back off the boost a little for gearbox saftey, very peaks especially with holding the gate shut on the new 3 port boost controller.

Accidentally left ESP on for this pull, but she MOVES now 🤩
