A 1912 BAT 998cc (J*P) V Twin at the Sunbeam Motorcycle Club - Fen Tigers Run.

BAT stood for "Best After Tests". At the time that this motorcycle rolled out of the factory, the J*P V Twin, rated at 8hp, was the only available option to customers. As you can see, it was a bit of a beast!

A 1925 Husqvarna 550 at the VMCC Banbury Run.

This motorcycle was imported to the UK from Sweden many moons back and was restored by the owner and rider Rodney Hann. It has competed in many Banbury Runs and is a sublime example of this Swedish marque.

A 1926 Ner-A-Car Model C motorcycle at the Giants Run. Fun Facts:

It was designed by Carl Neracher, hence the name.

It had hub-centre steering - quite the innovation at the time.

The rider sat low which made the bike feel very stable and easy to balance, even at low speeds.

It kept riders remarkably clean with the extensive front mudguard.

It appealed to women and first-time riders.
