Rare N55 DCT M135i in with us today! 🔧

This rare N55 DCT M135i came to us with a tapping noise on cold start. After diagnosing the issue, we found the exhaust camshaft had moved out of alignment.

The exhaust camshaft was realigned and re-torqued to the correct BMW specification, restoring everything back to factory specification. The result? The cold start tapping has completely disappeared, and the engine is now running exactly as it should. ✅

This N54-equipped BMW fitted with the factory 7-speed DCT came in for a full DCT service to keep the gearbox performing exactly as it should.

✅ Fluid level set to BMW specification
✅ Adaptations checked and final road test

🚨 Another “needs a new ECU” that didn’t… 🚨

This BMW M8 Competition arrived with us on the back of a recovery truck after being taken elsewhere for tuning.

Unfortunately, during the tuning process, one of the engine ECUs was bricked, leaving the vehicle completely immobile. The customer had been told the only solution was to replace the ECU – an expensive repair.

After recovering the car to us, we were able to flash a bench backup. Thanks to our extensive library containing thousands of ECU files and backups, we successfully restored the ECU and had the car back up and running within a matter of hours – without the need for a replacement ECU. ✅

Having the right tools, experience and resources can be the difference between replacing expensive components and getting your car back on the road quickly.
