We specialise in teaching motor vehicle mechanics to a wide range of young learners aged between 14 and 16. A community interest company, of which, any profits generated are re-invested back into our community projects. With academy's in both Wickford and Colchester, we also have a new service and repair centre opening soon in Colchester. Those who attend our academy can be guaranteed a safe and u

nique introduction into the motor vehicle industry, carried out by a highly skilled team, in a safe and friendly workshop environment. The Rallysport Engineering Academy is an alternative education provision, specialising in the teaching of motor vehicle mechanics, to learners, from all backgrounds. We have been specifically set up to assist those students who would find the normal learning environment a challenge, or to those who find the hands on approach to learning more beneficial. To date the Rallysport Engineering Academy has worked with over 25 different schools and organisations offering a roll-on roll-off service, of which, students can join any time during the academic year and start working towards completing a level one qualification. The curriculum at the academy is based on a philosophy of "learning by doing", We teach a level one qualification, of which, 80% of students learning time is practical based, carried out in our fully equipped workshop. We re-enforce the skills students learn by creating once in a lifetime projects such as the Rallysport Kit Car and Focus WRC Replica. At the academy we endeavour to teach all of our students the skills and techniques needed to help them realise their potential, gain responsibility for their actions, and provide them with the strongest possible foundations to which they can build upon and create a prosperous career in the motor vehicle industry, whilst ensuring that they are always supervised by experienced staff and working to stringent health and safety regulations.

On Wednesday visited our Wickford academy to give our Mercedes 190E Carat by Duchatelet project a good clean so we could see what paint work it required as it had been sitting in a field for over 12 years. Thank you for the fabulous job you did on the car and we look forward to welcoming you back once it has been painted.

So Modified Live was our last show of the year at Snetterton (still a couple of meets left to attend) and we are absolutely stoked to have walked away with this amazing trophy for best medium sized club, truly humbled, thank you to the judges and all who joined us on this stand and made it possible, but also a thank you to all the students at Rallysport Engineering who have helped build these amazing project cars, proud of you all, finishing the show season on a high ❤️

Our Wickford Academy have been quiet on social media lately but it definitely hasn’t been quiet in the Academy.

This week their latest project arrived and the students were keen to get involved. Working on a joint project with eternityeventsessex the goal is to convert this classic mini ice cream van into a mobile entertainment vehicle. Once built for the tv show last of the summer wine it hasn’t withstood the test of time so our tutors and students definitely have their work cut out.

At the weekend our Colchester team took some of our project cars to the last car show of the season, they won two trophies at one for our WRC Focus coming second place in Instagram corner and one for .fuel.teachers for the best presented stand.
