Glorious moist day at Brands Hatch Morgan Kent today. 2 cars booked with explanations on whats needed. 1 was a deep clean inside and out, and the second was a recently mechanically recommissioned that was sat for many years.
This one got a very deep clean and machine polish. Altho parts of the paint were a little worse for ware, and it being old school single stage paint (no laquer) it came up pretty well.

Always a pleasure at Morgans, staff are lovely and always there with hot drinks and help if needed. Im getting pretty good at taking these little cars apart and back together now!
The recommissioned one also had an extra Gtechniq coating at the customers request on the newly polished aluminium bumpers.

Skoda Fabia.

Something a bit different. This skoda fabia has been washed maybe 6 times in its life. (No joke) it was highly contaminated with bugs, tar, sap, salt, basiclly all of it!
First off was a decent bath of the exterior. All chemical detox methods done. Then the most important bit.. manual removal of any other contaminants left on the paint. This process should ALWAYS be completed before machine polishing. we refused to polish a trade car this week until this lengthy process was complete. This was a bit awkward, but we do not cut corners to save on budgets as its not how it works
This is a very important part of the prep before polishing and cannot be missed especially on very heavily contaminated areas so unfortunately we had to walk away.
after this Skoda got a lengthy clay treatment with heavy and a ultra fine clay it was ready for machine polishing.

You can see from the first video, how bad the paint was, holgrams from the dealers all those years ago as the customer states its never been to a body shop in there ownership.
After a little magic, it was all sparkly again. (Not refined at this point)
The entire car got a cut session to remove as many swirls and scratches as possible, then stepped down to refinement stages to enhance the gloss.
Was finished off with a Gtechniq ceramic sealent as the car is coming to the end of its lease.

Interior altho on the surface it didnt look that bad, but needed a lot of heavy brushing, plastics totally made new again, and carpets and seats scrubbed. Customer opted out of seat extraction as time was a factor.

Over all, this cherished little Fabia has come up a right little shiner and the customer is very happy.

We also got all 4 tyres changed, alignment done (thanks wheel-in whitstable) and we fitted a new AGM battery. This needed coding to the car as it kept throwing a low voltage warning. The start stop function now works and the car is happy again.

Range Rover SV Black. Ford Ranger, Bentley Turbo R. Skoda Fabia.

Mobile today to one of our rota clients, maintenance wash on his Range Rover SV black, a deep clean in his work pick up, (forgot to take pics) back to the unit to give the Bentley Turbo R some love.

Skoda Fabia in for a end of lease refresh. We have taken it to get 4 new tyres at our good friends Wheel In around the corner on our estate as well as wheel alignment. We will be fitting a new battery for the customer also before it gets the bath of its life, full decontamination, clay and light machine polish. There is loads of defects on the car so will be very photogenic under our lights.

Bentleys getting a deep clean inside and out, Sarah's working her OCD on those big fluffy floor matts and leather. I personally love this car, i think its pretty gangster, get it on some 22s and drop it to the floor! 😆 🤣

What a madness day!

Bmw 5 series in for its Rota maintenance clean. Inside and out. Left Sarah at the unit and went to do a maintenance wash on a Porsche GT3.
From the GT3 To Broadoak Performance Cars (Est. 2003) to do broadoak bits. Predominantly polishing up some gloss black bits on a Range rover.
Back to unit to return BMW to client, take delivery of a Bentley to smash out before we go home!

Gotta really shout out to NMDautomotive in Whitstable. Nathan and Harry especially. In short my van has been a total pita last few weeks. 1st was the turbo, which I got brand new and that lasted 6 miles! (Grrat) Nathan then got me a shiny new Garret, after replacing the first one, removed it, and fitted another one!
Took van to work and after a days graft Broadoak Performance Cars (Est. 2003) I went to leave and my master cylinder left the chat! It jammed me in gear forcing me to stall it so I didnt crash into broadoaks building whilst reversing!
That got replaced and then I noticed how not good the clutch was. It had damaged the clutch plate, soooo... I just got home from picking it back up from Nmd and it feels amazing! For now.. shes working until it throws another paddy! 😆

Massive big up to NMD Automotive and for looking after me and the van. Its been a long ass winded 6 weeks with going there and back.. I highly recommended them!

Check them out.. they Do all sorts of work.

Today, me and Sarah did 2x maintenance washes on 2 of our regular clients.
Tiguan R, and his wife's Qashqui. No pictures as you all seen them before.

Main focus was on the big blue bus! This big blue VW got a full detox wash, clay and we removed some scratches and other defects from the paint. Interior got a serious clean alcantara seats cleaned.

In fact we are just finishing off the little bits before its collected. This has come to us for this work and a inspection to quote up some more serious scratches and wet sanding work before machine polishing and a fresh coating.

Harry is here with his big black beast and thats been bathed by him as we are waiting for my new clutch to be fitted on the caddy! 😆 (bloody things relentless)

Gtechniq additions to Big Brain Automotive.

Got my goodies today from Gtechniq and did not hang about getting them up. After graft, I got to it.

When I done my unit people were like.. "why red on the floor?" Nothing else is red.
Well now ya know!

Having the accredited badge does not just mean here ya go, well done you can detail a car. Gtechniq have strict criteria to follow, practical tests, training ect ect. One cannot just buy it like you can else where.
That aside, this is the main bit I wanted for the customers that only Gtechniq can provide. LONG guarantees on coatings, customer support, customer aftercare packs, registered coatings, and a worldwide customer support network. This not only keeps the customer full of confidence, it also ups the presentation BBA offer to the client keeping it truly premium.
