Hello everyone, I haven’t posted in a while as we’ve been so busy working on vehicles I just haven’t had time. But here are a few jobs I have completed recently that I did take manage to take photos of!
The first 2 photos are of a Mercedes ML 350. The car came in with a grinding noise, upon inspection the front brake pads were on the metal which was the cause of the noise and the rear brake pads were so old that the pad lining had started to peel away from the backing plate which is dangerous.
Also being an automatic, the customer had not used their handbrake very often, which is very common and lead to an excessive build up of rust inside the brake drums.
New discs and pads were fitted all round as well as giving the handbrake shoes inside a good service.
The next 2 photos are of a Honda Civic type R front brake calliper that I rebuilt due to being seized, saving the customer a lot of money on buying a brand new calliper from Honda.
The last 2 photos are of a Ford Focus that failed it’s MOT on a few things. One of them being that the rear radius arm bushes were worn out and had excessive play.
I replaced the bushes along with a few other bits and the car is back on the road with a fresh MOT.
Please contact us for any vehicle mechanical needs. We will always be very honest, reliable and look after those who look after us!
Just a reminder we are completely mobile so can carry out work at your home or place of work, we can also collect and return vehicles to and from our workshop if needed.
Thank you, Reece.
