SYMPTOMS: intermittent loss of drive
Another vehicle recovered in after breaking down with loss of drive, this one threw us for a moment as vehicle would all of a sudden drive normally, upon further inspection and removing the gearbox we discovered the transfer box had suffered catastrophic internal failure, vehicle had been transferring drive to the front wheels as if the rear wheels had been spinning with no traction, re-conditioned transfer box supplied and fitted here at MB VEHICLE SERVICES ⚙️🔧

customer requested a Wet belt replacement and oil service on this Peugeot 208 along with a diagnosis of the engine management light being on since having a catalytic converter replaced at another garage, after further inspection we found an oil pressure switch to have a damaged plug completely snapped off, fair to say this belt would’ve snapped or stripped teeth at any minute, pressure switch replaced and belt fitted this vehicle is now performing as it should again 🔧

DIAGNOSIS: serious head gasket failure after customer had been driving with no water atall, failed coolant housing seal leaking being the cause
Head pressure tested and skimmed, brand new head gasket, head bolts, timing chain, waterpump, coolant housing, oil and filter service and spark plugs supplied and fitted here at MB 🔧⚙️
