Very poorly little fiesta in this week.
The vehicle was recovered into us with the oil pressure warning light on. Matt got straight to work removing the sump from the vehicle and promptly located a significant amount of timing belt teeth in the bottom of the sump. The oil pick up was blocked solid with timing belt debris and even more teeth.
Further strip down of the engine identified a failed turbo charger and failed pcv valve in the valve cover which had dropped into the top of the cylinder head.
After some more tests and speaking with the owner of the vehicle we carried on with the wetbelt replacement which included new:
Timing belt kit
Oil pump belt
New oil pump
New inlet and exhaust camshaft vvt pulleys
New turbocharger
New vaccum pump
New valve cover

Things could of been a lot worse for this engine but luckily the customer got this car to us just in time!

This little fiesta is now running like a little sowing machine and sounds and drives perfect.

Another poorly Ford ecoboost in this week.
This little ecosport was recovered into us after the engine oil pressure warning light appeared on the dashboard. The customer correctly stopped the vehicle as soon as safe to do so and had his vehicle recovered to us.
After removing the engine sump the reason behind the lack of oil pressure was clear and after speaking to the customer a full wetbelt package was fitted to the vehicle and now this little engine is running perfectly as it should
The little video clip here shows jus the extent of the damage to the timing belt allowing the teeth to literally just pull off. Think it's fair to say this customer was extremely lucky those teeth didn't let go while he was driving the vehicle.

For reference this vehicle had covered 82,000 miles.
