WELCOME TO HB SMART REPAIRS

I wanted the first post on this page to explain a little bit about who we are, what we do, and most importantly, where the name HB Smart Repairs comes from.

HB stands for Harvey Burrows my son.

Harvey sadly passed away aged 15 after battling cancer. He loved cars and had a real interest in the automotive industry.

At the time of Harvey’s passing, I was already training to move into bodywork and SMART repairs alongside Precision Detailing. After losing him, it felt right that this new avenue of the business should mean something more.

So I named it after him.

HB Smart Repairs is something I can build in Harvey’s name, combining an industry he loved with a new direction I was already working towards.

We specialise in professional SMART repairs, including bumper scuffs, scratches, minor paint damage, localised repairs, alloy wheel repairs and other cosmetic vehicle damage.

Repairs are available both from our fully equipped studio and through our mobile service, with private, trade and fleet work welcome.

This page will be where we share our work, before & after transformations, behind-the-scenes content and the continued growth of HB Smart Repairs.

For me, though, it will always be more than just another part of the business.

Every HB Smart Repairs job carries his initials and keeps Harvey’s name connected to something he loved.

Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported the page.

RANGE ROVER SPORT FULL CUSTOM WRAP TRANSFORMATION

This is what happens when everything comes together properly.

We had this Range Rover Sport in at Precision Detailing for a complete exterior transformation wrap, body kit, wheels and styling, all carried out under one roof.

The vehicle was fully deep cleaned and professionally prepared before receiving this stunning Satin Metallic Grey wrap, paired with Gloss Black detailing to create the perfect two tone combination.

We worked closely with the customer to choose the colour, opting for an OEM inspired Land Rover shade. The result is a finish that completely changes the appearance of the vehicle while still looking like it could have rolled out of the factory this way.

But this wasn’t just a colour change.

We also installed a complete upgraded body kit, carefully relocating and integrating the vehicle’s factory sensors and associated wiring into the new components to retain the original functionality.

And to finish the transformation?

A brand-new set of 23 inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, supplied and fitted by us.

The end result speaks for itself bigger presence, more aggressive styling and a completely different Range Rover.

Want to transform your vehicle?

From subtle OEM+ upgrades to complete custom builds, Precision Detailing can take care of the entire transformation from start to finish.

ASTON MARTIN DB9 GT | FULL DETAIL & 5 YEAR GRAPHENE PROTECTION

This stunning Aston Martin DB9 GT joined us for our Full Detail Package, with the aim of restoring the finish and protecting it for years to come.

We began with a thorough decontamination and preparation process before carrying out a full paint correction. Swirls, light defects and imperfections were carefully removed, restoring exceptional levels of gloss, clarity and depth to the paintwork.

The interior also received an intricate deep clean, carefully working through the cabin to bring every surface back to the standard a car like this deserves.

Once perfected, we applied our 5 Year Graphene Coating across all exterior surfaces, creating a durable protective barrier against the elements, environmental contamination, UV exposure and everyday road grime, while making future maintenance considerably easier.

The graphene coating also enhances the appearance of the paintwork, adding another level of gloss and depth and really bringing out the richness of this Aston Martin’s deep red finish.

The result a DB9 GT looking incredibly sharp, with its paintwork corrected, enhanced and protected for the years ahead.

Our 5 Year Graphene Coating is fully warrantied for the stated duration, giving our customers complete confidence in the protection applied to their vehicle.

Brand new VW Polo GTI in with us for our New Car Package.

Although this vehicle was fresh from the dealership, new doesn’t always mean perfect. The paintwork had picked up contamination and defects during transport, with industrial fallout being one of the main contaminants across the vehicle.

We carried out a full detailed preparation, including thorough decontamination to safely remove the bonded contaminants and get the paintwork into the best possible condition.

Once fully prepared, we carried out a light paint correction to improve the finish and remove minor defects before protecting the vehicle with our 5 year graphene ceramic coating.

The coating provides long-term protection, enhanced gloss and easier maintenance, and is fully warrantied for the stated 5 year duration.

The customer also took advantage of our 0% finance option, allowing them to spread the cost of the package into manageable payments.

A brand new car properly prepared and protected from the very start. ————————————————————————

If you have a Porsche you need PPF

This Porsche 911 came into our studio for an intensive transformation, where we carried out:

• Full safe exterior wash
• Complete chemical and mechanical decontamination
• Two-stage paint correction to remove scratches, swirl marks and restore maximum gloss and depth
• Installation of a 10 year self-healing Paint Protection Film to the entire front end for ultimate stone chip protection
• Ceramic coating applied over both the PPF and the remaining paintwork for outstanding gloss, protection and easier maintenance
• Replacement of the factory clear PPF on the rear quarter with black PPF, giving the car a more aggressive, bespoke appearance

All PPF and ceramic coating work is fully warranted, giving our customer complete peace of mind.

With the Porsche 911 sitting so low to the road, the front end is constantly exposed to stone chips and road debris. High quality self healing PPF is one of the best investments you can make, preserving the paintwork while remaining virtually invisible. Any light wash marks in the film will disappear with heat, keeping it looking its best for years to come.

If you’re looking to truly make your vehicle your own while protecting its value, PPF and ceramic coatings are the ultimate combination.
