Audi R8 V10 | Five Year Protection

A serious car deserves serious protection. 🤍💎

I recently had the pleasure of working on this stunning Audi R8 V10, carrying out an enhancement detail before applying a five-year ceramic coating package.

The aim was to refine the existing paintwork, enhance the gloss and clarity, and really make the white paintwork pop, while giving it long-term protection to keep it looking its best.

As part of the work, I also replaced the front Audi badges, giving the front end a fresh, sharp finish to complement the rest of the car.

The finished result is something I’m genuinely really pleased with. The gloss, clarity and overall finish look incredible, and I think the photos speak for themselves. 🏁✨

It’s always a pleasure working on cars like this, and this R8 was certainly no exception.

Ceramic coatings are a scam… apparently. 👀

I hear this more and more, so let’s clear something up.

A ceramic coating isn’t a fit-and-forget product. Like anything on a car, it needs to be properly maintained.

The coating needs to be installed correctly, the manufacturer’s guidelines need to be followed, and the car needs to be washed and maintained using the correct methods and products.

If it isn’t maintained properly, then yes — you can affect its performance. But here’s the important part: sometimes you haven’t damaged the coating itself… you’ve simply affected the hydrophobic properties on the surface.

With the correct maintenance, a quality ceramic coating will continue to do exactly what it was designed to do.

I follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, i know what I’m putting on the car, and i warranty my coating work.

Yes you get what you pay for, the 1 and 2 year coatings are entry level coatings…. The 5 years… different animals !

So when someone tells me ceramic coatings “don’t work”… I’ll let the water do the talking. 💦

Freshened up and protected for years to come. 💛✨

This stunning yellow Audi A5 came to us after being covered in Polar Seal that hadn’t been diluted correctly, leaving watermark-style etching across the paintwork, glass and wheels. The customer had even tried removing it from the wheels themselves, but nothing was shifting it.

After safely removing all of the residue, we carried out a light enhancement polish to restore the gloss before applying our 5-year ceramic coating package to lock in the finish and make future maintenance much easier.

The transformation speaks for itself. A deep, glossy finish that’s now protected for years to come. 👌

Enjoyed a detail I recently completed on this VW Golf GTD. ✨

This one came in needing more than just a shine. A deep scratch running down the left-hand side was carefully removed before carrying out a full paint correction to restore the finish, bringing the paintwork back to a high-gloss, swirl-free finish.

This VW Transporter didn’t need heavy correction—just a thorough enhancement polish to restore the depth, clarity and shine that had been lost over time.
