🔧 FULL COOLANT HOSE UPGRADE KIT

We carried out a major cooling system refresh, including:

✅ Full coolant hose upgrade kit fitted
✅ Replacement Y-pipe kit
✅ Replacement rear coolant crossover pipe
✅ New water pump fitted
✅ Replacement short connector pipe to the oil cooler
✅ Upgraded aluminium thermostat fitted

These upgrades help address common cooling system weaknesses and provide greater confidence in the reliability of the supercharged V8.

🚀 FULL LEVEL 3 PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

Alongside the cooling system upgrades, we installed our complete Level 3 kit, including our bespoke Level 3 ECU tuning and Autotech Tuning performance hardware.

The package included:

✅ Upper supercharger performance pulley
✅ Uprated supercharger drive belt
✅ Level 3 performance tuning

The combination of the upgraded pulley setup and tailored ECU calibration is designed to take the performance of the 5.0 Supercharged V8 to the next level, delivering an even more exciting driving experience.

Work via OBD on Bosch MG1CS049 "Locked" ECUs fitted to high-performance BMW M and Alpina vehicles with the S58 3.0 Bi-Turbo engine from 2021 onwards.



The first intervention requires a BENCH Unlock. Once unlocked, you can work directly through the diagnostic port without accessing the ECU again in BENCH, making subsequent operations faster and easier.

KESS3 increases speed and safety in the workflow dedicated to Bosch MDG1 “Locked” ECUs, introducing new BENCH protocols that can be used after the unlocking procedure.

The development covers Bosch ECUs already supported in BOOT “Unlock” mode: MD1CS003, MD1CS069, MD1CP007, MD1CS012, MG1CS042, MD1CS004 HW80, MG1CS031, MD1CP006, MD1CS005 and MG1CS002, installed on a wide range of petrol and diesel applications from 2021 onwards.

The first operation is to unlock the ECU: using the Unlock Module accessory, access the ECU and perform the BOOT unlock procedure, applying the required patch.
Once this step is complete, you can connect directly to the ECU connector and work in BENCH, without having to open it again.

The benefits for everyday workshop operations:

Unlock protected ECUs directly in the workshop
Direct access in BENCH after the unlock
Complete backup of ECU contents
Greater operational continuity on latest-generation cars, LCVs, heavy-duty vehicles and tractors

The Unlock Module is the initial access point that enables a faster, smoother workflow for subsequent operations and allows you to independently work on some of the most in-demand Bosch MDG1 ECUs on the international market.

The new protocols are available to KESS3 users with CAR BENCH/BOOT activation and an active subscription. The KESS3 Unlock Module is required to perform the BOOT “Unlock” procedure.
