It’s not just servicing and MOT’s we do here at M-Tech! Our main man Cam had the pleasure of doing valve stem seals on this lovely Cooper S earlier on this week!

Got a job you aren’t sure your usual mechanic can handle? Give us a call, we love the tricky jobs as much as the easy ones!

Engine light on? Don't just keep clearing it. 🔧

A warning light is your car telling you something isn’t right.

Proper diagnostics is much more than simply plugging in a code reader and replacing whatever component is mentioned first.

We can investigate:

🔧 Engine management faults
⚡ Electrical issues
🚗 Poor running
💨 Emissions faults
⚠️ Warning lights
🔋 Starting and charging problems

If your car isn't behaving as it should, let us take a look.

When was your car last serviced? 👀

It’s very easy to keep driving until something actually goes wrong, but regular servicing can catch problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

Oil, filters, brakes, fluids, suspension, belts and general condition — there’s a lot more to a service than simply changing the oil.

If your car is due, get in touch and we’ll get you booked in.

Knocking, clunking, squeaking or pulling? 🔧

Your car’s suspension and braking system takes a beating throughout the year — particularly once the roads get wet, cold and full of potholes.

Things like worn bushes, ball joints, shock absorbers and brakes often deteriorate gradually, so you may not notice how much the car has changed.

If something doesn’t feel right, get it checked.

After almost 20 years, the time has come for us to say goodbye to M‑Tech and hand over the reins to its new owners, Edwin and Becky.

What started as an idea and a passion all those years ago grew into something far bigger than we could ever have imagined. We’re incredibly proud of the business M‑Tech has become, and none of it would have been possible without our brilliant team and the thousands of customers who have trusted and supported us over the years.

To everyone who has brought us a car, recommended us to a friend, left a kind review or simply stopped by for a chat—thank you. Your support has genuinely meant more to us than we can put into words.

M‑Tech will continue in the very capable hands of Ed and Becky, and we wish them every success as they begin this next chapter. We know they’ll put their own stamp on the business while continuing to look after its customers and build on everything that has been created over the past two decades.

As for us, after 20 years of hard work, long days and plenty of ups and downs, it’s time for Matt to enjoy an early retirement—and for us both to spend more time enjoying life and whatever comes next.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

With love and gratitude,

Matt & Michaela
