What looks like a damaged corner can be a lot more than a damaged corner.

At first glance, the impact on this VW Crafter looks fairly contained to the front of the van.

But accident damage isn't assessed by what you can see from the outside alone.

Once our technicians removed the damaged components, they could properly access the area behind them, carry out the necessary repairs, and rebuild the front end correctly.

There's another detail we particularly like about this one.

Those black bonnet stripes were part of the van before the accident. After the repair and refinishing, we reinstated them to return the vehicle to how it looked before it arrived with us.

Black doesn’t hide much.

If the preparation isn’t right, the finished paintwork will show it — particularly on a large commercial vehicle with long, flat panels and reflections running across the body.

This van arrived with substantial damage around the front corner. What followed was considerably more than simply making the damage disappear.

The affected area was stripped, repaired and prepared through several stages before refinishing and reassembly. And with a black coloured vehicle, those preparation stages really matter. The final finish needs to flow naturally into the rest of the van without the repair drawing attention to itself.

Not every accident repair is about replacing body panels.
