We are fitting the engine and running gear from an accident damaged vehicle, to an extremely clean and low mileage rolling shell.

Another poorly Ford Ranger. This time suffering from wet belt failure due to poor maintenance.
Frequent oil changes are a must, especially when the engine oil passes over the drive belt!

Upon inspection not only was this ranger a couple litres short of its oil capacity, it was thick and gloopy. Causing the belt to degrade much faster than intended.

Replacement genuine Ford unit fitted with gaskets and related parts.

An expensive lesson to be learned, but we are sure this customer will keep on top of their servicing schedules from now on!

We have been slacking on the social media front recently so we thought we would show off our new workshop!

This Ford Ranger came in rather poorly, Poor running with the coolant system pressurising instantly on start up. The cause was the egr cooler failing which in turn warped the cylinder head due to excessive heat.

Cylinder head removed, valve seats re cut / skimmed with new egr cooler and associated parts. Genuine ford parts used.

This poor Kia came to us smoking terribly. The issue was found to be the turbo seals filling the dpf with oil. Further investigation found the oil filter and rocker cover area to be completely clogged with oily sludge! This is caused by lack of servicing, in turn causing premature wear to the engine and components. Several oil flushes, a new turbo and dpf clean, now back with the customer smoke free and running faultlessly!
