I really feel for my students who have had to deal with the most ridiculous waiting times for driving tests (currently around 6 months at test centres local to me) but *please* never pay more than £62 for a weekday test or £75 for a weekend test. I can confirm that I have never been approached by one of these ‘test touts’ and if I was I’d report them immediately. It’s shocking to me that some instructors have taken these backhanders at the expense of professional instructors and poor students. 😤

Touts use instructor login details to bulk-book tests and sell them at a huge mark-up, the BBC finds.

And she’s off…….a great big well done to Sophie Jackson who passed her test first time in great style at WSM test centre today. She tells me her first trip will be to surprise her grandma who had no idea that her test was today. Sophie also kept it from her friends which I think is the BEST way to do it. Just tell them when you’ve passed! Stay safe and have a fabulous summer 🙌 🚗 🥳
