We’re now working through entering the results from MOTs completed under contingency testing, updating the online records and printing your replacement certificates.

If you’re waiting for your updated MOT paperwork, please give us a couple of hours before contacting us so we can get everything uploaded and printed, ready for collection.

⚠️ MOT SYSTEM UPDATE – WE’RE STILL TESTING! ⚠️

The DVSA MOT computer system is currently unavailable, so here at TLC Garage Services & Recovery, we’re using the official contingency testing procedure to keep your MOT appointments moving. 🔧✅

What does this mean for you?

🚗 Your vehicle still receives its full MOT inspection to the usual standards.

📝 We record the results by hand and issue contingency paperwork. If your vehicle passes, your handwritten contingency MOT certificate confirms that pass.

💻 Once the system is back online, we’ll manually enter all test results onto the DVSA database during the catch-up process. Your new result won’t appear online until we’ve completed this.

📄 Want a standard printed certificate? Once we’ve uploaded your results, please pop back in with your handwritten certificate and we’ll exchange it free of charge. There’s no need for another MOT inspection just to exchange the paperwork.

Please keep your contingency paperwork safe and give us a call before making a special trip to collect your printed certificate.
