🚨 Important Update for Learner Drivers & Parents 🚨

The DVSA has issued a reminder about unofficial driving test booking apps, websites and social media scams.

Since May 2026, only learner drivers are allowed to book, change, swap or cancel their own driving tests. To help make the system fairer for everyone, learners must:

✅ Only use GOV.UK to book and manage driving tests
✅ Keep their booking details private
✅ Ignore offers from people on social media claiming they can find earlier test dates

Please DO NOT:

❌ Use unofficial apps or websites that search for test slots
❌ Give your driving licence details to anyone else to book a test for you
❌ Purchase test bookings or cancellations through social media

The DVSA has confirmed that if learners are found using unofficial services, they may:

⚠️ Lose access to online test management
⚠️ Have to make future changes by phone only
⚠️ Have their driving test cancelled

Scammers continue to target learner drivers, so please be careful. The safest, most secure and completely free way to manage your driving test is through GOV.UK.

Massive congratulations go to Yvie who this afternoon in Northampton and at her first attempt passed her test. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with her to help achieve this fantastic result. Good luck with all the new taxi duties you’re already being enrolled for and for your match on Friday, stay safe and don’t forget that over the shoulder check!!!

Congratulations go to Katie who took her examiner on a surprise mystery tour of Kettering to pass her test this morning. It’s been a pleasure helping her achieve this goal and I’ll certainly miss some of the interesting conversations we had going. I should warn you that I may be passing on some of the genius ideas you came up with. I hope the insurance gets sorted soon, stay safe out there!!!

Congratulations go today to Olivia who in Kettering early this morning passed her test at her first attempt. I got to sit in and was given a smooth and confident drive with only two minor faults recorded. Well done and stay safe!!!

Huge congratulations go to Evie who this morning in Bedford and at the first attempt passed her test. It’s been a pleasure helping her achieve this milestone and finish off the year on a high, also I think she wins the award for the biggest smile of the year. Stay safe out there and enjoy no longer having to wait on those cold mornings!!!
