North West Nitro - NWN Well established dual track (astro/dirt) RC Racing facility based just outside of Blackpool.

North West Nitro (NWN) is one of the premier outdoor off-road RC racing facilities in the UK. With easy access just off the M55 near Blackpool, the completely redeveloped facility offers two new tracks, one multi-surface and one astroturf, a massive parking/pitting area, overflow parking, toilets and a canteen. The tracks have been designed to cater for both 1/8th and 1/10th scale buggies. The mul

ti-surface track is the 'Summer' track with racing switching to the asytroturf track for the winter. The facilities have been designed in such a way that, should the weather be too wet to run on the multi-surface Summer track we can easily switch to the astroturf track meaning we can run the event pretty much whatever the weather.

Thank you to everyone that ventured down to North West Nitro. It’s fair to say we did well with the weather showing a bit of uncertainty at the start of the week it was just a shame about the wind. We have some great racing on the track today and a great turn out.

Your 2026 national track is ready and waiting. We have been busy getting the finished touches done this weekend.

Camping link is below please book in for how many nights you are staying we will have a card machine on the day but if you can please book in here. This is essential for those staying Thursday so we can let you in.

Please see the photo below showing where to park and mainly where not to park. The gravel car park is for pitting only! Please don’t park in there. In the camping field please leave a driveway as shown in case of emergencies. The red areas are marked out for BRCA team and NWN so we can be nearby if needed.

North West Nitro national is fast approaching now and is just over a week away. If anyone that isn’t racing is available to come and lend a hand the whole team would greatly appreciate it. Free lunch will be on offer for anyone that can help Saturday or Sunday. We will also Include a free practice on Saturday before our RD3 on the 31st of May.
