While a few of our colleagues are busy showcasing our amazing range of vehicles at the Norfolk Show, the workshop team have been hard at work back at base!

This week we've been completing the battery replacements on the vehicles that have arrived from Wales, ensuring they're ready to get back on the road performing at their best.

At the same time, we carried out a routine health check on a local customer's vehicle and identified a split CV boot. It's another great example of why regular vehicle inspections are so important. If left undetected, a damaged CV boot can lead to grease leakage and potential CV joint damage, leading to costly repairs further down the line.

Preventative maintenance and regular health checks help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

Workshop Update 🚗🔧

Following on from our post yesterday about the five vehicles that arrived from a customer in Wales, we're pleased to share a progress update.

So far, our team has completed inspections and diagnostics on three of the vehicles. The required parts identified so far across the vehicles include new brake pads, tyres, battery terminals, batteries, handbrake cables, and replacement switches. Parts have been ordered, allowing us to move forward with the repairs as soon as they arrive.

Meanwhile, the workshop team continue to work hard at assessing the remaining two vehicles to ensure we have a complete plan of action for the entire fleet.

A big thank you to our workshop staff for their continued hard work and dedication as they work through the job and keep everything moving efficiently.

🔧 Another happy customer back on the road! 🔧

Today we welcomed a Ryker 900 Sport into the workshop for its first service. Along with the scheduled maintenance, the customer reported a squeak from the brakes and felt the brake pedal needed to be pushed further than expected before braking engaged.

As part of every service, we carry out a complimentary health check, which includes a thorough inspection of the braking system. After checking everything over, we were pleased to confirm that the brakes were in excellent working condition.

To improve rider comfort and confidence, we adjusted the brake pedal position so it sat higher, then carried out a road test to ensure braking performance and response were exactly as they should be.

The result? A fully serviced Ryker and a reassured customer ready to enjoy the ride! 🏍️✅

🔧 Another machine diagnosed and on its way back to full health! 🔧

A customer recently contacted us regarding their HD10 Traxter Pro after noticing a clunking noise while driving. We advised them to bring the vehicle straight in so our team could investigate the issue as quickly as possible.

Following a thorough inspection, including stripping down the underside of the vehicle, we identified the cause of the problem – a failed prop shaft bearing that requires replacement.

The required parts have been placed on a rush order and, as soon as they arrive, we'll get everything fitted and tested to ensure the machine is back on the road as soon as possible. A cable tie has been fitted to just temporarily secure the prop shaft from hitting the ground whilst the repair is ongoing.

We understand how important it is to minimise downtime, which is why we work hard to diagnose faults quickly and keep our customers moving.
