Hassan came, he saw, he passed! 🚗

Yesterday was test day in Watford and Hassan walked away with a FIRST-TIME PASS! 👏🏽

He’s put a serious amount of time and effort into his lessons, and you could see the difference every time he got behind the wheel. By the time the test came around, he was ready for it.

Then the examiner took him onto a route he already knew…

No surprises, no panic — just roads Hassan had already driven with us and knew exactly what to expect.

That’s one of the big advantages of learning with a local school. We know Watford. We know the test areas, the routes, the tricky junctions and the little things that can catch you out. We make sure our pupils get plenty of experience on them before test day.

Hassan, you earned that one mate. First time and fully deserved! 👊🏽

Another Watford driver on the roads… everyone else, you’ve been warned! 😂

Kam’s Auto Academy — local instructors, local knowledge and lessons built around getting you properly ready for the real test.

Pulkit got it done! 🚗💨

When Pulkit first started with us, we knew we had a bit of work to do 😂 But credit where it’s due — he put the hours in, took the lessons seriously and kept working on the things he needed to improve.

He was travelling all the way from Harrow to Watford for his lessons, so there was definitely no excuse for him not to know these roads inside out! 😂

We put him through plenty of mock tests, worked on the tricky junctions and made sure he was comfortable with the local test routes. Being local specialists, that knowledge of Watford’s roads is a massive part of how we prepare our pupils.

And this week it all came together — Pulkit passed his driving test! 👊

Well deserved mate. Enjoy the freedom and hopefully the journeys from Harrow to Watford are a thing of the past now! 😂

If you’re learning automatic in Watford and want lessons from instructors who genuinely know the local test routes inside out, give Kam’s Auto Academy a shout.

Ola has officially joined the drivers club! 🚗

Watford test yesterday and he came through with a FIRST-TIME PASS! 👏🏽

No messing around, no second attempt, no “I’ll get it next time” — just straight in there and got the job done!

And we can’t forget Dunni, who sent him our way after passing her own test with us. Clearly she thought, “If I can pass with these guys, so can you!” 😂

It’s always a great feeling when one family member passes with us and then recommends us to another — that’s how Kam’s Auto Academy grows, one happy driver and one family recommendation at a time!

Well done Ola! You worked for it, kept your head when it mattered and came away with the result.

Now enjoy the freedom… although I’m guessing Dunni will still be giving you directions from the passenger seat! 🤣

Congratulations mate — first time and fully deserved! 👊🏽

“The biggest thing stopping some learners from passing isn’t their driving… it’s overthinking manoeuvres."

That was Kira.

She could drive well, but manoeuvres were the one area she never felt completely confident with. So instead of making them more complicated, we simplified them into easy, repeatable steps that she could trust every single time.

The result? Less second-guessing, more confidence, and on Friday she passed her driving test in Watford!

A massive congratulations to Kira. You put the work in, trusted the process, and it all paid off. Enjoy the freedom that comes with that pink licence!

If manoeuvres are the one part of driving that makes you nervous, you’re definitely not alone. Sometimes it’s not about practising more—it’s about having a method that finally clicks.

Who’s finding manoeuvres the trickiest part of learning to drive?

A fantastic result for Yaw this morning, passing his driving test in Watford with just 1 minor fault! 👏🚗

Yaw came to us through his mate Richard, who also passed first time with Kam's Auto Academy, so he had a good act to follow!

After grabbing an earlier test through a cancellation, Yaw didn't leave anything to chance. We completed several mock tests, polished up his driving, and he stepped up when it mattered most.

As it happened, the route he got on test day was one we'd covered in a mock test the day before. That's the advantage of learning with local instructors who know the Watford test routes inside out.

That's two mates, two first-time passes with Kam's Auto Academy, and two VW Golfs. Coincidence? We'll let you decide! 😂

A massive well done to Yaw for staying committed, taking on every bit of feedback, and putting in the work. It's been a pleasure helping you on your journey.

Enjoy the freedom and drive safe! 🎉

One of the biggest compliments we can receive… ❤️

Last year, we celebrated Anya passing her driving test with Kam’s Auto Academy. 🎉

This summer, we’re delighted to welcome her younger sister, Ariana, as she begins her very first driving lesson. 🚗

When families come back and trust us with another important milestone, it means more than any review ever could. Thank you for putting your confidence in us once again.

Good luck, Ariana! We can’t wait to watch your confidence grow and hopefully celebrate another pass in the near future. 💪

Every driving journey is different, and Cristy’s is a perfect example of that.

She already knew how to drive before coming to us, but knowing how to drive and passing a UK driving test aren’t always the same thing. Different road rules, different road layouts, different expectations… and let’s not even start on mini roundabouts! 😅

This afternoon in Watford, all of that hard work came together, and Cristy walked away with a full UK driving licence.

Away from driving lessons, Cristy works in the Emergency Theatres. We know the incredible work these teams do day in, day out. We’ve had the privilege of helping quite a few healthcare professionals from the hospital over the years, and it’s always especially rewarding to play a small part in giving something back to people who spend so much of their time helping everyone else.

Of course, the credit belongs to Cristy. She was open to learning, willing to adapt habits she’d built up driving overseas, and never shied away from constructive feedback. That attitude is exactly what got her over the finish line today.

If you’ve driven abroad and are wondering whether you need lessons in the UK, the answer is often yes—and that’s completely normal. We specialise in helping international drivers understand UK roads, regulations, local test routes and what the examiner is really looking for. We also work with complete beginners, taking them from their very first lesson all the way to test success.

Cristy, thank you for trusting Kam’s Auto Academy with this part of your journey. Enjoy the freedom your new licence brings—and stay safe out there! 🚗🎉

🚗💨 Some people pass their driving test… and then there’s Usman.

This morning in Watford, Usman didn’t just pass — he delivered a performance that left absolutely nothing on the table, earning himself a full licence with an incredible ZERO driving faults. 🎉🏆

That means every observation, every decision, every manoeuvre, every bit of planning and control was spot on when it mattered most. No minor faults. No “almosts”. Just a clean sheet from start to finish.

The truth is, passing a driving test is an achievement in itself. Passing with zero faults is a different level altogether. It’s something that doesn’t happen often and can only be achieved through consistency, focus, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

Usman turned up, put in the effort, took on feedback, and raised his standards every lesson until driving safely and confidently became second nature.

A huge congratulations, Usman. You’ve earned every bit of this result and should be extremely proud of yourself. 👏

At Kam’s Auto Academy, we’re proud to have helped guide the journey, but today’s result belongs to Usman. We provided the roadmap; he did the driving — and he drove it perfectly. 🚗✅

Another great result coming out of Watford Driving Test Centre this week 👏

After celebrating Nadia’s pass yesterday, today Sonya added her name to the list by passing her driving test this morning with just 2 driving faults

This was earned through steady progress, commitment, and turning up ready to learn every lesson. Her confidence behind the wheel kept growing week by week, and it all came together on test day. Funny enough, one of the routes we covered shortly before the test ended up appearing during the exam itself — a reminder that good preparation always pays off.

At Kam's Auto Academy, lessons are built around helping learners feel comfortable and confident in all kinds of driving situations, not just memorising test routes. The aim is always to create safe, independent drivers through patient teaching, detailed feedback, and lessons tailored to each individual learner.
A brilliant drive and a well deserved pass. Enjoy every moment of your new freedom on the road, Sonya 🎉🙌

Nadia came to Watford Driving Test Centre this afternoon and left with a full driving licence.

And the best part? She did it by staying completely focused from start to finish. This time around there were no nerves taking over, no second guessing — just calm, confident driving when it mattered most. 👏

Massive credit to her because bouncing back and keeping your composure under pressure is what gets results.

Although… I have a feeling her dad might suddenly become very protective over the Range Rover keys for the next few weeks.

Huge congratulations Nadia — fully deserved and a brilliant drive to earn that pass certificate 🔥

At Kam’s Auto Academy, we don’t just teach people how to drive. We prepare pupils properly for test day. From knowing the Watford test routes inside out, to covering the common fail areas, mock test practice, and helping learners manage nerves under pressure — everything we do is built around getting results.

Passing your test shouldn’t feel like guesswork. With the right preparation and the right instructor, confidence comes naturally.

If you want a driving school that genuinely knows how to get pupils test-ready, Kam’s Auto Academy should be your first call 📞
