“The biggest thing stopping some learners from passing isn’t their driving… it’s overthinking manoeuvres."

That was Kira.

She could drive well, but manoeuvres were the one area she never felt completely confident with. So instead of making them more complicated, we simplified them into easy, repeatable steps that she could trust every single time.

The result? Less second-guessing, more confidence, and on Friday she passed her driving test in Watford!

A fantastic result for Yaw this morning, passing his driving test in Watford with just 1 minor fault! 👏🚗

Yaw came to us through his mate Richard, who also passed first time with Kam's Auto Academy, so he had a good act to follow!

After grabbing an earlier test through a cancellation, Yaw didn't leave anything to chance. We completed several mock tests, polished up his driving, and he stepped up when it mattered most.

As it happened, the route he got on test day was one we'd covered in a mock test the day before. That's the advantage of learning with local instructors who know the Watford test routes inside out.

That's two mates, two first-time passes with Kam's Auto Academy, and two VW Golfs. Coincidence? We'll let you decide! 😂

Last year, we celebrated Anya passing her driving test with Kam’s Auto Academy. 🎉

Every driving journey is different, and Cristy’s is a perfect example of that.

She already knew how to drive before coming to us, but knowing how to drive and passing a UK driving test aren’t always the same thing. Different road rules, different road layouts, different expectations… and let’s not even start on mini roundabouts! 😅

This afternoon in Watford, all of that hard work came together, and Cristy walked away with a full UK driving licence.

Away from driving lessons, Cristy works in the Emergency Theatres. We know the incredible work these teams do day in, day out. We’ve had the privilege of helping quite a few healthcare professionals from the hospital over the years, and it’s always especially rewarding to play a small part in giving something back to people who spend so much of their time helping everyone else.

Of course, the credit belongs to Cristy. She was open to learning, willing to adapt habits she’d built up driving overseas, and never shied away from constructive feedback. That attitude is exactly what got her over the finish line today.

🚗💨 Some people pass their driving test… and then there’s Usman.

This morning in Watford, Usman didn’t just pass — he delivered a performance that left absolutely nothing on the table, earning himself a full licence with an incredible ZERO driving faults. 🎉🏆

That means every observation, every decision, every manoeuvre, every bit of planning and control was spot on when it mattered most. No minor faults. No “almosts”. Just a clean sheet from start to finish.

The truth is, passing a driving test is an achievement in itself. Passing with zero faults is a different level altogether. It’s something that doesn’t happen often and can only be achieved through consistency, focus, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

Usman turned up, put in the effort, took on feedback, and raised his standards every lesson until driving safely and confidently became second nature.

A huge congratulations, Usman. You’ve earned every bit of this result and should be extremely proud of yourself. 👏

Another great result coming out of Watford Driving Test Centre this week 👏

After celebrating Nadia’s pass yesterday, today Sonya added her name to the list by passing her driving test this morning with just 2 driving faults

This was earned through steady progress, commitment, and turning up ready to learn every lesson. Her confidence behind the wheel kept growing week by week, and it all came together on test day. Funny enough, one of the routes we covered shortly before the test ended up appearing during the exam itself — a reminder that good preparation always pays off.

Nadia came to Watford Driving Test Centre this afternoon and left with a full driving licence.

And the best part? She did it by staying completely focused from start to finish. This time around there were no nerves taking over, no second guessing — just calm, confident driving when it mattered most. 👏

Massive credit to her because bouncing back and keeping your composure under pressure is what gets results.

Although… I have a feeling her dad might suddenly become very protective over the Range Rover keys for the next few weeks.

Most people see a driving test as a gamble. Arceli didn’t.

This morning in Watford, she walked into her test carrying nerves (completely normal)… and walked out with a pass — first attempt, just 1 minor.

That result wasn’t luck.

We had already driven those roads. Not just once, but enough times for them to feel familiar. The junctions, the roundabouts, the little details that usually catch people out — none of it was new to her. So even when the nerves kicked in, she wasn’t reacting… she was recognising.
That’s the difference.

Ruby came into this feeling the nerves (big time), but she stuck with it, trusted the process, and passed first time in Pinner. That didn’t happen by accident — it came from putting in the work and learning how to manage those moments of pressure.
