Vehicle Technician.

Job Description:

We have a rare opportunity for someone to join our existing team.
We are looking for a conscientious fully experienced Motor Vehicle Technician,
MOT tester an advantage but not essential.
The successful applicant will be expected to be confident and proficient in all areas of the motor trade and be able to service and resolve issues on all makes and models of vehicles.
Our focus is on customer satisfaction as our number one goal, this ensures all of our servicing and repairs are at the highest level whilst maintaining a ‘right first time’ attitude.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Carry out service and repairs to motor vehicles
- To work safely adhering to Company Policy
- To complete work in an effective and efficient manner
- To adapt a ‘right first time’ attitude
- To maintain a suitable level of relevant technical knowledge
- To adhere to DVSA standards ref MOT testing
- To be able to confidently communicate with staff and customers
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Experience & Qualifications required:

Relevant recognised qualifications in Vehicle Repairs, Diagnostics etc
Full UK Drivers license
MOT tester ( not essential )
F-Gas Safe Handling – certificate ( not essential )

Hours
Mon – Thursday 08:00 to 18:00
Friday - 08:00 to 17:00
Holiday, Uniform

Tolpits Motors are seeking an experienced vehicle technician, we are offering a salary of 40k plus a 5k on target bonus. Experience in general diagnosis and repairs on a variety of vehicles is required. Competent at jobs such as clutch replacements, cam belt replacements etc. MOT tester would be good but not essential. I apologise to any of you who disagree with my rant, and I obviously would not generally enter into political comment on our business page, however I rant on behalf of many of my customers who are now effectively having their cars seized… many have found their perfectly serviceable cars worth thousands of pounds last year are now valueless and useless today….Mayor Khan stated that it is a minority of average Londoners who are affected!! Well let me be clear because I have done my own research, I took a walk round a small estate in Ruislip two days ago at around 7 pm, Ruislip for those who don’t know is quite an affluent part of west London, and the part I walked around is a less affluent part of there. With a house price of around £400k and as an estimate an average income of about £50k £60k, the sort of place an average working class family would live.
Out of circa 100 cars parked around I could see that 25-30 would not be ulez compliant….So Mr Khan are 25% of the average working class people in London a minority?
Where on Mars did your statistics come from, and why on earth are this country’s courts backing you??
