2026 1000 Miglia Day 1: A fantastic day saw the cars leave Brescia and head for Lake Garda and beyond. Both the N0. 66 6C 1750 that we are supporting and the No.62 Alfa Romeo 8C that we extensively prepared for the event (which won the FIVA Best Preserved award yesterday!) are running well with both crews having a fabulous first day. Day 2 is already underway.

The race is on! Car 66 is on the road and making it's way towards Lake Garda on stage 1 of the 1000 Miglia

JSW NEWS:

The JSW Group has acquired the skills, experience and assets of EMP Tooling. Consequently JSW now have a laser welding facility in-house that allows us to repair and restore components, including cast iron and magnesium, for the automotive, aerospace and marine sectors. A brand new laser cell has been constructed on site and two members of staff from EMP have joined us to maintain the quality of work that the organisation was known for. Engine blocks, cylinder heads, gearbox casings and many types of components are now repairable via the incredible precision and ultra low heat transfer, causing no distortion and intricate super clean welds, that the process is renowned for.

Operational now, please call to discuss your requirements.

Our engineers will be meeting up with the car on Saturday and are looking forward to supporting the car during this legendary event.

The 2026 1000 Miglia is just a month away and we have three cars in the workshop that are participating. The engine from the Alfa Giulietta Sprint Veloce has been extensively rebuilt and has just emerged from our dyno. Making 107bhp and over 80lbs ft of torque, the result is thanks to Jake in our engine shop. The engine is now ready to be reinstalled ahead of final road testing before travelling to Brescia.
