Retro Truck Show

Evening boys and girls, so as the show is nearly upon us and I will be fairly busy from now onwards here’s a few things to mention.

We have been booked up for 3 weeks now, I understand a lot of people were disappointed that they didn’t get in, but please only bring your truck if you are booked in as we have no extra space!

As any regular knows this is a no air horn and no engine revving show, anyone flouting this will be leaving…no discussion.

Arrival on Friday, if you arrive before 5pm you will be parked in a holding area until we are able to park you up, please be patient with us as we want to get you parked up as quickly as possible, we don’t officially have the venue until 5.00 so we are reliant upon the parking areas being clear, there maybe some vehicles taken straight in, these will be sponsors and trade vehicles which need parking prior to the rest of the vehicles.

Please be patient with us as every person you see in a hi vis is either a very close friend or family volunteering for the weekend!

There are no cash machines on site so please ensure you have enough on you as quite a lot of our traders prefer cash, and the service can be questionable for card machines!

We have a no vehicle movement policy on Sunday between 10.00 and 3.00, if you need to leave before 3.00 on Sunday please make a member of our team aware on arrival and we will park you accordingly.

Good evening boys and girls, the final countdown has begun!! As most of you know we don’t do trophies at The Retro Truck Show , however this year the haulage industry and show scene lost a very special gentleman, Charles Russell, Charles was a lovely man who would always have time for a chat and was a massive contributor to our show with his beautiful collection of Scanias and also sponsored the show, so we thought it right to have a Charles Russell memorial trophy, the winner will be chosen and the trophy presented by Ben and Oliver, Charles’s sons over the weekend.
