🏁 FROM MR KARTING TO THE BRITISH 24 HOUR PODIUM! 🏆
At Mr Karting, we’ve always wanted to give drivers somewhere to start — whether it’s their very first time behind the wheel, their first race, or the beginning of something much bigger.
Recently, we got to see exactly where that journey can lead… as we took on the British 24 Hour Kart Race at Teesside! 🇬🇧
With 89 teams taking part, we entered with four drivers:
🏎️ Leo Brown
🏎️ Harry Graham
🏎️ Lucas Blantford
🏎️ Miles Murphy
What makes it particularly special is that Leo, Harry and Lucas all started kart racing with us at Mr Karting when they were kids. Since then, they’ve gone on to compete at a much higher level of motorsport with multiple championships between them — and now they were back together racing for Mr Karting!

🏁 12TH OVERALL FROM 89 TEAMS!
Not bad for 24 hours of absolute chaos. 😂
Was it a straightforward race? Absolutely not.
🔧 Make several setup changes
💥 Snap the chassis… THREE TIMES
🛠️ Deal with a selection of mechanical issues
🚨 Collect rather more driving penalties than was strictly necessary
😂 And somehow keep the thing circulating for 24 hours!
There were plenty of moments where it looked like the race might be getting away from us, but the drivers kept pushing, the kart kept getting repaired and they kept putting in laps making it to the chequered flag which is no mean feat!
But more than the trophy, this is what Mr Karting is all about.
Giving people their first opportunity to race, helping them develop, and hopefully watching some of them go on to do things they probably never imagined when they first jumped into a kart with us… trying to hit those apex’s!
From junior karting at Mr Karting… to standing on the podium at the British 24 Hour. ❤️🏁
A massive well done to Leo, Harry, Lucas and Miles — and everyone who helped keep kart #18 alive for the full 24 hours!
Apparently chassis are considered a consumable now. 😂🔧
3rd in class. 12th overall. 89 teams. 24 hours. One very tired kart.
