The new Santasevera 42 has been designed to do all three.

And it's quick.

⚡ 40-knot top speed
💨 32-knot cruise
⚙️ Sterndrive, outboard OR IPS
☀️ Huge open cockpit
🚶 Walkaround deck
🛏️ King-size owner's bed
🍹 Galley + C-shaped social area

The clever part is the packaging.

The helm has been pushed forward to free up the cockpit, while that distinctive wide bow creates extra space for the owner's cabin underneath.

There's also a choice between open Sport and hardtop HT versions.

A lot packed into 42 feet.

I’ve been digging into our latest LinkedIn content data, and I’ll admit, even I was surprised by some of the numbers.

Across 170 Boatbuilding News posts:
📈 417,000+ impressions
🔗 17,600+ clicks
👍 6,400+ likes
💬 466 comments
🔁 204 reposts

But perhaps the number I’m most interested in?
People arent just seeing Boatbuilding News content. 👀
Theyre clicking on it.

One story alone generated:
83,185 impressions and 3,066 clicks.

Another generated a 39% click-through rate, with 957 clicks from just 2,427 impressions.

And weve seen numerous individual stories achieving click-through rates of 15–25%+.

For a specialist marine publication, thats the bit Im proud of. 🥹

When I relaunched Boatbuilding News, I didnt want to build another platform that simply republished marine press releases.

I wanted to build an audience that actually wanted to read the stories.

Were still growing, were still experimenting and were still learning what our audience wants from us.

But more than 417,000 impressions and 17,600 clicks tells me were heading in the right direction. ⬆️

And were only getting started. 🛥️

This 55m Amels is going back to where it all began. 🇳🇱🛥️

Amigos has returned to the Netherlands for a major winter refit at Royal Balk Shipyard.

She's one of only 17 Amels Limited Editions 180 yachts — a hugely successful series that was discontinued in 2020.

Now under new ownership, she's getting:

⚙️ Technical work
🎨 Exterior updates
🛋️ Interior changes
🔧 Full servicing
📋 Preparation for her 10-year class survey

And there's a nice full-circle detail.

Metrica, which originally outfitted her interior at Amels in 2017, is returning to work on her again.

Nearly a decade later, the Dutch yacht-building supply chain is still supporting the same yacht.

125+ metres and more than 6,000 GT. 👀

A new Lürssen has been sold — and this is a serious superyacht project.

Known as Project M, the fully custom yacht is scheduled for delivery in May 2032 and will be built at Lürssen's Bremen facility.

Espen Øino is responsible for the exterior, while RWD will design the interior. ⚓

Royal Yacht International, Italian Yacht Group and Kitson Yachts will represent the buyer throughout the new-build programme.

Most details remain confidential, but the numbers already reveal the scale of the engineering challenge ahead.

More than 125 metres. More than 6,000 GT. Six years until delivery.

This superyacht is 30 METRES wide. 🤯

Sinot has unveiled Fusion, a 118m superyacht concept built around not one, but three near-full-length hulls.

The centre hull measures around 115m, while both side hulls stretch approximately 110m — creating a platform with a reported 3,340sqm of exterior deck space.

And they've certainly found ways to use it.

🎾 A 770sqm Playdeck capable of accommodating a tennis court.

🏊 A 970sqm aft terrace with an 8.2m x 12.7m pool.

Plus an 843sqm deck for tenders, vehicles and exploration equipment.

At approximately 8,200 GT, Fusion is designed for just 18 owners and guests.

110 metres of superyacht inspired by Mediterranean Riviera living.

Studio ZEA has unveiled Riviera, its new 110m superyacht concept at Monaco Yacht Show 2026.

She measures 14.8m across, draws 3.8m and offers approximately 3,550 GT of interior volume.

But one of the most interesting details is much simpler.

☀️ Retractable wooden slats inspired by traditional French louvred shutters can filter the sun, provide shelter or open the spaces to the sea breeze.

Combined with stepped decks, rounded overhangs, extensive glazing and light teak, the concept is designed to make a 110m yacht feel closely connected to its surroundings.

Princess is going BIG again. 🇬🇧👀

Princess Yachts has revealed the first images of its new 33m Odyssey 108 at Monaco Yacht Show.

It will be the Plymouth builder's first yacht over 100 feet for almost a decade — and Princess has brought in superyacht design studio Harrison Eidsgaard to work on the interior.

But there's plenty happening underneath too.

⚓ 2,600+nm range at 9 knots
⚓ Up to 21 knots
⚓ 277 GT
⚓ New Hybrid Fast Displacement Hull
⚓ Physical tank testing already completed

The first Odyssey 108 is scheduled to hit the water in 2029, ahead of its world premiere in 2030.

There's a swimming pool above the wellness area — and its floor is transparent. 👀💧

This is Camper & Nicholsons' new 62m superyacht concept and the first complete project from its revived in-house Design Studio.

The whole yacht has been designed around light and water.

☀️ Daylight travels between decks through vertical voids
🌊 Full-height glazing brings the sea inside
🏊 Two pools cascade into each other at the stern
💧 Sunlight passes through the transparent upper pool into the wellness area below
🛁 The observation deck gets a Jacuzzi
🏝️ The owner's private foredeck gets another pool

Even the materials — teak, oak, travertine, linen and jute — were selected for how they change as daylight moves across them.

After more than 240 years associated with yacht design and construction, Camper & Nicholsons is returning to its creative roots.
