Volkswagen Polo -
In for a major service, carrying out all the required service items along with a full vehicle health check.

The customer also received a full vehicle health check report, the service book was stamped, and the service was reset.

Range Rover Sport -
In with an annoying coolant temperature warning/message showing on the dashboard.

After investigation, the coolant level sensor was found to be the cause. The sensor was replaced and the annoying message is now gone.

Two vehicles, two different jobs, both sorted at the customer's home without the hassle of taking them to a garage.

The braking system was renewed front and rear, with new wear sensors fitted and the brake fluid replaced to keep everything operating as it should.

Another breakdown repair completed at the customer’s home.

The vehicle had broken down and roadside assistance diagnosed a failed alternator, recommending replacement.

🔎 I attended the customer’s home and carried out my own investigation and charging system tests to confirm the alternator had failed before carrying out the repair.

The MG3 came in for investigation of a rattling noise while running, with the customer suspecting a possible alternator failure. The vehicle was also experiencing overheating.

🔎 On inspection, the issue was quickly identified. The water pump was severely damaged and was literally hanging on by a thread, with the pump and pulley in need of replacement.

Peugeot 208 GTi | Alternator Replacement.

This customer contacted me after their Peugeot 208 GTi developed a battery warning light and started repeatedly cutting out.

I attended the customer’s home and carried out a full charging system inspection, which identified the alternator had failed and was no longer charging the vehicle’s 12V system correctly.

🔧 Time to get hands-on:

✔ New alternator supplied and fitted
✔ Charging system tested
✔ Battery voltage and charging output verified
✔ Electrical system checked
✔ Vehicle road tested

Following the repair, the charging system was operating correctly and the GTi was back up and running properly. ⚡🚙
