This trailer really had that sinking feeling! After being disconnected from its tractor unit on soft ground, the landing legs sunk over night. With a 21 ton precast concrete section still loaded previous attempts lift the trailer had ended in vain. Using heavy duty chains and a lot of muscle we had the trailer free in no time! This really tested our guys and wrecker to the limit!

The team there will now remove the tank and auxiliary equipment ready to be fitted to a new chassis.

Tasked by our customer to move the vehicle to secure storage, the safest thing to do was deploy the Towtrack. We are unsure what the future holds for this stunning car. This Lotus pushed our TowTrack to its limits! Modern EVs are extremely heavy, which can make them a real challenge to tow. And when they breakdown, it's rarely a simple fix, often requiring specialised equipment and expertise to get them back on the road. We're talking complex electrical systems and high-voltage batteries - it's a far cry from the simple mechanics of older vehicles. So, when our TowTrack was put to the test with this Lotus, we were impressed by its ability to handle the weight and complexity of this modern EV.

Unfortunately, the driver of this Ford Fiesta had misjudged the road conditions and ended up stuck down the embankment. Using all his equipment and training our driver had the vehicle loaded and recovered safely back to our Warrington depot.

We will store the vehicle while awaiting instruction from the insurance.
