π§ WHY REPLACE PLASTIC WITH PLASTIC?
A known failure point on a range of BMW petrol & diesel engines now has an uprated solution from Pierburg.
The original-style oil filter housing uses a plastic construction which is subjected to constant heat cycles, oil and coolant pressure. Over time, the plastic can become brittle, distort or crack β potentially resulting in oil leaks, coolant leaks or cross-contamination.
πͺ THE UPGRADE: PIERBURG ALUMINIUM
Pierburgβs uprated oil filter housing replaces the plastic body with a robust aluminium construction, providing a stronger and more durable solution.
