Smedmore Caravan Site is nestled within the grounds of the historic and rural Smedmore Estate in the heart of Dorset. Covering around 1800 acres in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Estate runs down to a stunning and unspoilt stretch of a World Heritage Site, The Jurassic Coast. A peaceful family and dog friendly site to unwind and relax and take in the wonderful scenery. We have a variet

y of wildlife in and around the grounds so you never know what you’ll see! The Caravan Site is a Caravan Club affiliated site, It is in a neatly-mown field off of a private drive. It is sloping in parts with a few level planes of grass, bordered on three sides by trees, and a lovely grassy meadow for dog walking. There are 48 spacious touring pitches, mostly arranged around the edge of the field. Facilities include electrical hook-ups, an information hut, two watering points and one chemical disposal point. THERE ARE NO SHOWERS OR TOILETS. The site is open from May to October. The Warden Callum is normally on site every day at 11am until 3pm. Bookings may be made all year round by email

We accept booking for caravans, Motorhomes and Camper vans but regret that this is a touring van site only, we do not have static vans to rent and cannot take tent bookings.
