Hi All - We’ve updated the address details to make it even easier for you to find the track tomorrow. The event is now full with 18 pilots plus 5-6 Prospec 7”.

Access & Parking Instructions

As you travel down the hill through Thundridge, look for a gravel road on your left, just before the traffic control barrier.

This entrance is directly opposite Ermins Café.
Upon entering, you will see the allotments on your right.

Continue along the gravel road:

Drive slowly all the way to the end.
Follow the road down the hill to the pitch.
Parking:

Do NOT drive onto the pitch.
All vehicles must be parked on the far left side of the field.

A lot of people ask about our race gates so here are a few photos.

The internal dimensions for these gates is 26inches - we find this absolutely perfect for the current speed Whoops are being raced at with 28k to 30k+ motors.

We use 21mm PVC tubing for the frames and the diffuser is made from is 16x16mmm cable conduit.

This diffuser simply clips on to the LED strip and locks in place. We purchased everything from Wicks in the UK.

LED’s are basic RGB strips from Amazon. If we were building the gates again we’d use WS2812B LED’s with more chips per strip. This would allow us to increase the brightness of the gates if used in daylight - But for this hall the brightness is perfect as it is.
