Today, we're celebrating an incredible milestone as Mike marks 7 years with Find and Finance.

As our Head of Operations, Mike plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the business, overseeing countless aspects of our operation and helping to ensure that every customer receives the exceptional service we're known for.

Mike was one of the very first employees to join Find and Finance, and over the years he has been a huge part of our journey. From the early days of the business in its infancy to the growing organisation we are today, Mike has been there every step of the way, helping to build the foundations that have made Find and Finance what it is.

Loyalty is a quality that cannot be bought, and we're incredibly grateful for the commitment, dedication and hard work Mike has invested into the business over the last seven years. His knowledge, work ethic and passion for looking after both our customers and colleagues make him a hugely valued member of the team.

This image shows exactly where your engine oil level should sit on the dipstick and what each level means:

🟒 Normal/Safe - Perfect! Your oil level is within the manufacturer's recommended range and your engine is properly lubricated.

🟑 Low - Time to top up. Running with low oil can increase engine wear and reduce lubrication to critical components.

πŸ”΄ Critical/Dangerously Low - Stop and check immediately. Driving with insufficient oil can cause severe engine damage and potentially lead to complete engine failure.

⚠️ High/Excessive - More isn't always better. Too much oil can cause excessive pressure, oil foaming and damage to seals, gaskets and other engine components.

Checking your oil only takes a couple of minutes and could save you thousands of pounds in repair bills. As a general rule, it's worth checking your oil level every few weeks, especially before long journeys.

Let's break down the tyre size 255/35 ZR19 98Y πŸ‘‡

255 = Tyre Width
This means the tyre is 255mm wide from sidewall to sidewall.

35 = Profile (Aspect Ratio)
This is the height of the tyre's sidewall expressed as a percentage of the tyre's width. In this case, the sidewall height is 35% of 255mm, giving the tyre a sporty, low-profile look.

ZR = Speed Category
The "Z" indicates the tyre is designed for high-performance vehicles capable of speeds above 149mph, while the "R" means it has a radial construction, which is standard on modern tyres.

19 = Wheel Diameter
This tyre is designed to fit a 19-inch alloy wheel.

98 = Load Index
This number tells you the maximum weight the tyre can safely carry. A load index of 98 means each tyre can support up to 750kg.

As part of our 8th birthday celebrations, we took the team to Hickory’s in Cannock for an afternoon of great food, good company and even better conversations.

Running a business is about far more than vehicles and finance. It's about people. Yesterday gave us the opportunity to spend some quality time together away from the office, reflect on how far we've come and enjoy conversations that weren't centred around work.

From humble beginnings to where we are today, Mike and Nicola have built Find and Finance around one simple principle: look after your people, and they'll help look after your customers.

We're incredibly proud of the team we've built and the culture we've created. The success of Find and Finance over the last eight years is down to the hard work, dedication and commitment of every member of staff who shares our vision of delivering a Simple, Safe and Special service.

Today marks 8 incredible years since Find and Finance was founded with a simple idea from Mike Kirby: to create a vehicle sourcing and finance business that was simple, safe, special, transparent and honest.

What started as a husband-and-wife operation working from a small office has grown into something truly special.

Over the last eight years, we've gone from humble beginnings to operating from our own two-storey headquarters in Cannock, alongside a dedicated storage facility where we safely prepare vehicles for delivery and store vehicles that clients have entrusted us to sell on their behalf.

More importantly, we've grown from a team of two into a team of passionate professionals who all share the same ethos: delivering an exceptional customer experience every single time.

Along the way, we've helped hundreds of families and businesses, sourced and financed thousands of vehicles, built lifelong relationships with customers, and created a business we're incredibly proud of.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our amazing clients, suppliers, partners and staff who have been part of our journey. Thank you for believing in us, trusting us and helping us continue to grow year after year.
