๐ท โยฃ๐ฎ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ?!โ๐ฑ
Yep... we hear it from time to time. ๐
At ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ & ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ฒ, we donโt charge for checking and inflating your tyre pressures.
Instead, we ask for a ยฃ2 donation.
And thereโs something many of our customers probably donโt realise...
โค๏ธ Those donations help us support charitable causes. ๐
We support different charities and community projects, both here in the UK and further afield, and ๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ is just one of the organisations weโve been proud to support.
๐ต๐ฐ So who are ๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐?
The organisation began in 2019 after a young man from the village was seriously injured in an accident. With no ambulance readily available, getting him medical help was delayed.
The community decided something had to change.
They raised the money for their first village ambulance, and what started with one simple mission has grown into a much wider community welfare organisation.
Today their work includes:
๐ ๐๐บ๐ฏ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ & ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐
Their ambulances don't only serve Shinka. If somebody in a neighbouring village or further afield needs urgent assistance, Shinka Welfare Society will do what it can to lend a helping hand.
Because when somebody needs help, it shouldn't matter which village they come from.
Humanity has no boundaries. โค๏ธ

The Welfare Society has also helped secure the village with its own CCTV network, helping deter crime and keeping the community safer... ๐ช
๐ง Providing access to filtered drinking water
๐ School transport for local children
๐ Educational support for families in need
๐คฒ Support with burial costs for struggling families
๐งน Community cleanliness projects
๐ Ramadan food distributions for families who need help
It might only be a ยฃ2 donation while you're getting your tyre pressures checked...
But when enough people contribute a couple of pounds, those small donations can add up and help do something genuinely worthwhile.
So next time we ask for a ยฃ2 donation for checking your tyre pressures...
Just remember, it goes a little further than your tyres. โค๏ธ
Thank you to every Global customer who has contributed and helped us support causes like this.
From the bottom of our hearts, we really appreciate it.
