Audi A3 2014 1.6L diesel in for rear pads & new calliper with EPB (electronic parking brake) motor👨‍🔧

Customer came in after hearing grinding noises when braking 😬 After a full inspection one of the calipers wasn’t releasing due to corrosion & failed parking brake motor, common problem on the VAG cars.

Replaced with a set of OEM-matching parts after customer agreed ✅, Everything was cleaned thoroughly, ceramic brake grease applied to help prevent corrosion and eliminate unwanted noise, and all components torqued to manufacturer specifications 🧰

New calliper bled to release air
Brake fluid topped up
New parking brake module programmed in
Road test & quality check completed

Customer came in after hearing grinding noises when braking 😬 After a full inspection, all the pads & disc were worn out with check brake pad warning on dash

Replaced with a full set of OEM-matching parts all round after customer agreed ✅, Everything was cleaned thoroughly, ceramic brake grease applied to help prevent corrosion and eliminate unwanted noise, and all components torqued to manufacturer specifications 🧰

New brake wear sensor was also fitted

During inspection, we found a split CV boot leaking grease ⚠️ this can lead to bigger issues if left untreated

Customer came in after hearing grinding noises when braking 😬 with the brake warning light already on ⚠️ After a full inspection, the pads and discs were completely worn out – one of the worst cases I’ve seen.

Replaced with a full set of OEM-matching pads and discs all round ✅ no cheap parts used. Everything was cleaned thoroughly, ceramic brake grease applied to help prevent corrosion and eliminate unwanted noise, and all components torqued to manufacturer specifications 🧰

VW T-roc 1.6 diesel 2018 – brake issue & EML sorted ⚠️🚗

Customer came in with a loud screeching noise while braking & EML light on with MOT expired, the car would’ve failed the test❗️

After the checks front pads & disc were completey worn, glow plugs needed replacing due to age & milage.

Brake pads & disc replaced ✔️
Glow plugs replaced ✔️
40 mins test drive, noise gone EML light stayed off ✔️

🔧 new parts supplied by customer Drivetec

While working on it, found:
❌ nothing had been cleaned for a long time
❌ heavy corrosion built up

✅ everything cleaned properly
✅ all bolts torqued to manufacturer specifications
✅car passed MOT first time

Seat Ibiza Sport Coupe 1.2 TSI 2014 – brake issue sorted ⚠️🚗

Customer came in with a loud screeching noise while braking 😬

Recently had brake pads replaced elsewhere… but discs were completely worn out 😳 hard to miss

🔧 new parts ordered & fitted
While working on it, found:
❌ nothing had been cleaned
❌ heavy corrosion left behind
❌ caliper piston rubber boot twisted 😬 could’ve caused a seized caliper & brake failure

✅ everything cleaned properly
✅ rubber boot refitted correctly
✅ brakes now working as they should

⚠️ customer ended up paying for the same job twice in one week — make sure you trust who’s working on your car
