2014 Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 Campervan for timing chain renewal

Someone has definitely been in here before, grey sealant eveywhere.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Spotted a few faults while stripped down

Egr cooler flap stuck in fully retracted position
Sump pan corroded.
Coolant radiator damaged
Scuttle panel requires resealing and
Brake flexis not fitted into struts. Slight damage but not showing braid.

Service interval reset and full ecu diagnostics carried out. Possibly rebooking for other works to be carried out after speaking with warranty company.

2014 Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 Campervan for timing chain renewal.

This one wasn't too far from potentially failing, even though all mileage and service history checks out aswell as relatively clean inside the engine.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Few other niggles put right upon rebuild.

Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6 r9m bi turbo for timing chain renewal.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Also supplied and fitted new auxiliary drive belt kit due to excessively worn and New crankshaft pulley due to excessive play.

Supplied and fitted new fuel filter housing assembly, air filter and cabin filter.

Attended to chaffing coolant hoses behind radiator pack.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Nissan Primastar 2.0 m9r786 for timing chain renewal.

2nd time around for this one so it seems.

Removed the seemingly unbranded timing chain kit and supply and fit a genuine OE chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Attended to a few other little niggles upon rebuild.

Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6 r9m single turbo for timing chain renewal.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Found O ring seal on oil filter incorrectly fitted.

Also supplied and fitted new auxiliary drive belt kit due to excessively worn.

New water pump due to coolant leak.

New cabin filter, old one fitted the wrong way.

New Air filter.

Gearbox oil change using Tranself NFX.

Full set of glow plugs as requested.

Replaced several missing bolts upon rebuild aswell as attend to a few damaged parts and build up correctly.

2nd timing chain for this 2016 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6 r9m single turbo.

Found timing way out of specifications which can't be just down to the amount of wear.

Just worth a mention, We didnt fit the previous timing chain kit.

Full front end removal as standard to check and attend to the problematic chaffing coolant hoses, to find several leaks and previous bodges been carried out. Advise for the full coolant pipework assembly to be replaced.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Also supplied and fitted new auxiliary drive deflection bearing due to excessively worn, belt and tensioner had previously been replaced.

Service interval reset and full ecu diagnostics carried out.
