2015 1.6 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6 r9m for timing chain renewal.

Full front end removal as standard to use the correct timing tools and procedures.

All rebuilt using a genuine OE timing chain kit including front crank main oil seal, OE engine casing sealant and engine oil and oil filter change.

Also supplied and fitted new auxiliary drive belt kit due to excessively worn.

New crankshaft pulley due to excessive play.

New engine casing, timing chain cover due to damage caused by the previous crankshaft pulley failure.

Attended to insecure airbox intake pipework.

Protected the problematic coolant hoses from chaffing against each other.

Removed excessive crud / sludge from oil filter housing.

Corrected oil filler neck fitment.

Replaced several missing bolts upon rebuild

Replaced upper rear engine mount due to becoming separated

Few advisories for future work to be carried out

Service interval reset and full ecu diagnostics carried out.

Supplied and fitted brand new alternator and new plug due to intermittent charging fault , also cured the coolant leak that caused the alternator to fail.

Also supplied and fitted new auxiliary drive belt kit due to excessively worn.

Service interval reset and full ecu diagnostics carried out

Cleaned out oil filter housing as always.

New cabin filter due to being well overdue

New air filter as requested

Supplied and fitted new crankshaft pulley and auxiliary drive belt due to excessively worn.

Service interval reset and full ecu diagnostics carried out.

Replaced several missing bolts and fasteners upon rebuild,

Customer complained of DPF issues / blocked. Customer considering dpf delete. So looked into this while vehicle stripped down.

Problems found.

DPF already been drilled out and mapped out, possibly DPF internals collapsed hence why the exhaust upstream pipework keeps splitting.

Also found both strut top bearings collapsed and both front brake flexi pipes not mounted
