I’m very happy to announce that Wakefield Alloy Wheel Repair has found a new home.
2 Manor Road, Wakefield. WF2 8DD
We will be repairing, buckles, cracks and cosmetic damage from Monday 3rd August
If all goes to plan from the 10th August the guys will be carrying out full refurbishment as before.
I’m taking a step back from September because my mind and body needs it.
Throughout August I will be helping Gaz, Dom and Mason prepare everything and hopefully the work they put out will be just as good as they have done for the past 3 years
Obviously the premises are smaller and the guys will take a while to adapt so please bear with them
I will be updating all our suppliers and socials throughout August so please bear with us

Yesterdays road trip eventually turned positive as we collected our new stripping tank and ancillaries from Ribble Technology Ltd
We are moving to hot strip due to the dangers of cold strip. My team and I come first and whilst we may not be as quick in turning around a set of wheels until we fully understand how to use this new system our health is far more important.
This new product is potentially more expensive to run BUT also better for the environment.
Hopefully my homework on our future systems will have been worth it.

What a difference a few days can make.
This week we’ve had a lovely low mileage Hyundai I20 in to refurbish the wheels.
Yes it’s the dreaded Diamond Turn flaking and corrosion letting down such a nice car.
As an owner there is nothing you can do to prevent this happening to the DT section apart from parking your car in the garage and not using it
However a full strip and coat and we can make your wheels look fabulous again

Last week was Focus ST week for us. We had a couple of previously worked on vehicles in for cosmetic repairs due to slight curb damage and this one for a a full strip and coat to Fine Silver as the owner didn’t like the factory grey wheels.
From cosmetic repairs, buckles, cracks and full colour change we can handle it all.

There is a reason we love Diamond turned wheels.
Because they are s**t and don’t last so we get to strip and coat to make them look fabulous again.
Why the manufacturers waste millions on fancy designed wheels and then charge hundreds of pounds for replacement wheels when all you need is one colour.
