Hi everyone, as some as you might know, my husband Harvey Callieu passed away at only 21 years old!
We’ve all been shocked that he is gone as he had no underlying health issues or any major medical history.
He passed away saturday 11th May after been rushed to Southampton hospital.
He ended up become brain damaged due to lack of oxygen being able to get to his brain as he had an extreme pressure in his head.
But harvey was always full of life! He was such a genuine, kind, caring and generous man, with an incredible personality that would just light up a room! He had an absolute love for cars and basically anything with an engine.
Even though a funeral is necessary and we will be having one, we thought it is more fitting to harvey’s personality to do an honorary drive in tribute to him.
Covering a route with his favourite roads.
We would love for his family, and friends (new and old), anyone who knew him or anyone from the Isle of Wight community to join in celebration of his life and support for a young life that’s been lost.
We will be meeting at blackgang chine car park sunday 2nd June @ 4:30 to leave at 5.
We are offering for anyone to attend to join back for some refreshments and maybe some hot dogs or anyone can bring their own picnic as well.
I will be leading the drive in his favourite car, his abarth 124.
This drive will be above anything else, respectful.
We want this to be a celebration of his life and not to detract from that, so we ask there is no overtaking, we will be driving at a slow pace and keeping a safe distance from the car in front of you.
We are really adamant that this will need to be respected as this is something that me and our family would like to do as a send off for harvey. So please, we would like support from anyone, but only if it will be respectful support.
Thank you so much, we really hope you can join us
Feel free to share anywhere.
Thank you for reading this
Love harvey’s wife
