One owner from new, imported from Ireland and has been cherished from the beginning spending it's life living in a garage when not out being enjoyed.
Beautiful example that can only be described as mint, dropped in for a day visit for belts, aux belt guard and some other odds that were found and ticked off the list while here, really enjoyed working on this one 👌

Carlos in yesterday for an annual inspection fresh belts and service at 39k miles.
I restored this LE 10yrs ago for Clint and it still looks factory fresh 👌

Sprint Blue 20vt imported from Greece with only 17500 miles on the clock, new owner had an awesome adventure buying this and driving it back to the UK after the Greek garage fitted belts and prepared it for it's journey, such a shame they didn't realise they'd fitted the wrong steel adjuster and a year later it allowed the aux belt ro ride over the edge until its decided to leave the chat, jump the timing burying 10x inlet valves, no guard fitted which would have saved this repair :(
So resolving the issues and damage was exactly the same as the Plus last year, head rebuild and new bigend shells, also found the inlet sleeves to be cracked and after the first ramp test realising the fuelling was an issue which explains why the owner had trouble with the emissions last year, it transpired the 'new' injectors that were fitted were in fact copies so beware and steer clear.
Now finished and back with the owner this must be one of the lowest mileage UK Coupes on the road today and hopefully we'll see it at some shows so if you do go and say hello as he's a great guy with quite a quirky car collection.

This beautiful Plus suffered a catastrophic failure after the aux belt jumped at 6k rpm, no FCSS fixed gaurd to protect the timing jumping so unfortunately pistons interferered with valve with such force it bent all 20x valves, cracked some of the valve guides and made a horrid mess of belts, pulleys, tensioners and even broke the water pump pulley.
The machine shop managed to salvage the head and did a lovely job refreshing everything with new valves etc including hydraulic buckets, pistons, rods checked and refitted with new big end shell bearings, the rest was all a straight forward rebuild, ramp and road tested and now happily back at home with the owner.
Why there wasn't a belt guard fitted is a mystery but it now has one so £130.00 would have saved this ££££ repair.
