Getting Brendan's (our Head of Sales) R1150GSA back to commuting duties! We've been piecing this one together bit by bit around a very busy month for website orders - thank you guys!
A broken tooth on the intermediate shaft was found to be the culprit of the horrible drivetrain noise, and it was more cost effective to source a replacement 'box than it was to find the individual parts to rebuild the original.
A new rear main seal, clutch slave cylinder gasket, clutch rod felt ring and a few other bits of hardware raided from our warehouse and things are beginning to look up. Although not our usual thing, these bikes are a real joy to work on.

We don't usually get oily with bikes seeing as we specialise in the parts and accessories side of things - but when our Head of Sales Brendan Arthur started experiencing a horrible knocking noise from his R1150GSA (a bike with a story in itself!) we cracked on with stripping it down ourselves last night.
What we hoped was a simple clutch/flywheel issue got more involved. Say hello to a stray piece of gear...
