When the internet decides to go on strike but the job still needs doing... 🔧

We had a customer's car in for a repair today, and once the work was done it needed a software update to get it running right. Of course, that's exactly when our internet decided to give up on us.

So what did we do? Pushed the car down the road to our friends at Howdens so we could piggyback their WiFi and get the update through.

That's the Uckfield Motor Services way — no internet, no problem, no excuse. Your car gets fixed, whatever it takes.

Huge thanks to the team at Howdens for letting us set up shop in their car park for the afternoon 👏

Peugeot clutch replacement completed at Uckfield Motor Services 🔧

This Peugeot came into us after the customer reported it wouldn’t drive when put into gear. After carrying out our checks, we found the release bearing had failed as you can see in the first and last picture the difference of the old and new release bearing, so we fitted a new clutch kit and got the vehicle back driving as it should.

Another repair completed and another customer back on the road ✅
