We’re absolutely delighted to see X500 CPR, the low-mileage Rover Mini Cooper Sport, which we were proud to supply last year, taking pride of place on the front cover of the September 2026 edition of Classic & Sports Car — as well as being featured inside the magazine.

First registered on the 31st July 1968 by P.C.E Motors of Reading to 1st owner Mrs Allam of Epsom Downs, Surrey, After some 30,000 miles the S800 was sold in November 1970 to 2nd owner Mr Rutherford of Leatherhead, Surrey, before passing into the hands of last owner Mr Mignell of Croydon in February 1973 at circa 37,900 miles

A sympathetic body and mechanical restoration was carried out in 1993 by Windmill Classics Cars at circa 47,600 miles

Complete with comprehensive provenance including the original Green logbook, MOT’s dating back to the early 70’s, Tax discs, Original bill of sale to Mr Mignell from B.Newton Motor Co Ltd of London, Various service/parts invoices dating back to the early 70’s, Restoration details & invoices, Multiple photographs of the restoration and S800 Workshop manuals

Complete with a host of spares including the original steel wheels & hub caps

Family owned for the past 53 years this wonderfully original S800 has now covered just 58,000 miles from new
