IDK is growing , this is good news .
However , this is by no means perfect.
IDK has hit the point at which we have had no choice but to register for VAT, government rules , not mine.
As such , from the first of august , VAT will be added to our invoices.
We understand that this may upset a lot of you , but nothing can be done to change it , so please be kind to us , and support us as you always have.

What a great weekend

A great big thank you to the Dirty Devils SC and the Vulcan SC for putting on such a great rally .
Thank you for allowing IDK to be a part of it , offering on site support for those in need . Fortunately , only a few issues to deal with .
A Lambretta chopper with a rather worn tyre , a Rally 200 with a leaky fuel tap , a spark plug in a Vespa P200 and a little wiring repair on a small frame over from Germany with no headlight .
Many thanks to Dave and Diane of Scooter Trumps for supplying any parts I required ,
And a big shout out to all the organisers and venue staff that made for a great weekend
Roll on next year .

Our favourite little Lui is back

Greetings scooter fans .
Another Lambretta through the doors this week .
This time a TV175 rocking a reed valves RT195 kit .
Following a compression test last week , reading 75psi , it was decided the rings were somewhat tired .
Apparently they have been in service for some time and done some serious mileage .
Top end off , and confirmation of our diagnosis . I suspect 4.2mm is a little over spec .
New rings checked and measuring in at ten thou gap , new reed petals fitted as a matter of course , and all slipped back together .
Customer collected it , and all ready to be ridden again ( following running in guidelines of course )
Ride safe people .
