The first commercial hydrogen fuel station for big-rig trucks in the U.S. is up and running at the Port of Oakland, a baby step toward what hydrogen proponents see as a clean new future for long-haul trucking. The small station, now serving 30 hydrogen fuel-cell trucks, could mark the start of a nationwide network for fuel-cell truck refueling.

I agree the amount of cost the public have because they don’t have a spare wheel is ridiculous. Only the other day a customer had a puncture and was stranded for hours due to only having a repair kit in his XC90. No Jack or wheel brace either! Come on manufacturers stop cost saving. The only reason we don’t have spare wheels anymore is because of weight saving giving the cars better mpg and a massive cost saving to the manufacturers not having to supply all the equipment for customers tp replace the wheels themselves. I don’t think I’ve ever had an instance where I’ve been called out and the sealer supplied with the vehicle has repaired a puncture. Sorry rant over!

Long assumed, but now verified by a recent survey of over 10,000 AA members, drivers vastly prefer traditional or spacesaver spare wheels over the tyre sealant and puncture repair kits often seen on new cars. According to the motoring group, there has never been a better argument for carrying a spar...

Interesting read.

The Green Alliance thinktank has accused Rowan Atkinson of adversely affecting the image of electric vehicles and contributing to sluggish sales. A piece Atkinson's wrote in June 2023, titled "I love electric vehicles - and was an early adopter. But increasingly I feel duped," was used in particular to illustrate a broader concern about "misleading" reports hampering EV sales.
