With incredible aircraft taking to the skies above the Ayrshire coast, it’s always a spectacular sight and a fantastic day out for all the family.

River Ayr Walk

Bertholders and visitors to Troon Yacht Haven can enjoy the River Ayr Walk, a picturesque route with plenty of riverside scenery to explore near the historic town of Ayr.

It’s bramble season, so you may spot plenty of wild blackberries along the way. The River Ayr also has a number of small pebble beaches, which make nice spots to stop and enjoy the view.

The walk is easily accessible by car, bus or train and can also be extended to include a walk to Auchincruive Estate.

Enjoy this great local walk to enjoy while you’re staying at Troon Yacht Haven.
