A massive thank you to all the team at Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund CIC for helping New Road Garage achieve its goals of adding a third lift with its ‘lift me up’ project in the latest round of grants. The new lift is now in and already being put to good use and more importantly has allowed me to take on another full time mechanic who has already started. This grant will allow New Road Garage to keep up with the growing demand we have been receiving.

New Road Garage will be open as normal until Christmas Eve as we are an essential service. All customer who have MOT’s and work booked in with us next week can still bring there vehicles in as planned.

I wish everybody that has to close at the “drop of the hat” all the best and hope to see you all back to normal as soon as possible in the New Year.

During lock down we have been busy giving the garage a fresh look. I would like to say a big thank you to Matthew Rowe for doing the sign. Another big thank you to to Kevin Jones & Martin James for helping me sort out the floor. Thank you to AJ Merrett for keeping on top of the work while we got through these changes and lastly and thank you to Kirstyann Baker for putting up with the kids and late nights.

Hi I would just like to inform all my customers that New Road Garage will remain open through out the Coronavirus outbreak but I will be reducing my hours to 3 days a week which are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as I feel this will help to lower the risk to my staff and myself but try to maintain MOT and repairs to our customers that rely on there car’s though this difficult time. Although there has been a 6 month extension on MOT’s for vehicle due an MOT after the 30th of March you are still required to ensure your vehicle is in a road worthy condition. We are happy to check over your vehicle to ensure that this is the case or we can MOT your vehicle as normal to maintain your current MOT expiry date.
