Yet another 1st time pass for Right Course! Congratulations go to Jamie today for passing his practical driving test this morning at the Northampton test centre. Jamie had a great warm up, kept his nerve and then decided to take the examiner out for a drive with one of their friends. With a car full of passengers Jamie put in a superb drive, picking up only 2 minors he booked his place in the 1st time club! Jamie said “Jason was exceptionally helpful throughout the year that he had been teaching me I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive.” Many thanks for your kind words Jamie and from Right Course Driving School we wish you safe travels for the future. 😁🚙👍

Congratulations go to Joshua today, who was lucky enough to take time out of his busy schedule being an astronaut to fit in taking his practical driving test this lunchtime at the Northampton test centre. Joshua had a great warm up session and then put in a superb drive, booking his place in the exclusive pass first time club!

Congratulations go to Keira today for passing her practical driving test this morning at the Northampton test centre. It was a hot sunny morning but Keira kept her cool and put in a great drive. Receiving high praise from the examiner she booked her place in the pass first time club! Keira said “Jason was an amazing driving instructor who was caring and patient, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor thank you”. Congratulations go to Dylan today for passing his practical driving test this morning at the Northampton test centre.
It’s a great start to the week, the sun was shining and Dylan had a good warm up, kept his cool and went and impressed the examiner with a superb drive, only picking up one minor fault. Dylan is now reminding his whole family that he passed his test first time!! Dylan said “I always enjoyed going on driving lessons with Jason, was never stressful and he always made me real comfortable and relaxed when at the wheel. Congratulations go to Darwin today for passing his practical driving test this morning at the Northampton test centre. Darwin was no April fool, keeping a level head, and having a good warm up. He then put in a great drive and impressed the examiner with only a couple of minors. Darwin can now boast of his enrolment into the exclusive pass first time club! Darwin said “Highly recommend Jason. The rules for booking and managing car driving tests are changing.

If you've got a test booked, or you're planning to book one soon, here are the key dates you need to know:

✅ 31 March 2026 – only 2 changes can be made to a booking
✅ 12 May 2026 – only learners are allowed to book a test and make changes
✅ 9 June 2026 – learners can move their booked test only to nearby centres

Congratulations go to Liv today for passing her practical driving test this afternoon at the Northampton test centre. Liv remained calm and upbeat, cracking the odd joke as usual during her great warm up beforehand, she then went and put in a superb drive and impressed the examiner by avoiding every bus lane, in so doing she picked up her pass certificate with only one minor. The problem now is working out who gets the car on what day with her sister! Liv said “Jason is a fantastic teacher, really couldn’t ask for more. He is calm, patient and genuinely cares.
Throughout our lessons there was never a dull moment, 10/10 passenger would drive again. My confidence and ability was boosted every lesson.

Congratulations go to Jovin today for passing his practical driving test this afternoon at the Northampton test centre. Jovin had a great warm up beforehand and kept his cool, putting in a brilliant drive passing in style with only one minor fault. This great drive also get’s Jovin membership to the pass first time club! (This probably means less rain going forward as Jovin only had lessons if it was raining 😁) Jovin said ”Throughly enjoyed the lessons we had together.

Congratulations go to Emily today for passing her practical driving test this afternoon at the Northampton test centre. Emily had a great warm up and then put in a stunning performance, not only passing first time but passing with a clean sheet, zero faults! A truly exclusive club indeed. Emily is now off to celebrate Pancake Day in style. Emily said “Jason was an excellent instructor, very patient and happy to explain things multiple ways. I’d like to present my first ever Right Course Driving School weekly wins award to my learner Joshua! He knows who he is and he won’t mind me saying it took him a while to perfect the pulling over on the right with a straight line reverse manoeuvre. This week however he absolutely nailed it, he’s a worthy winner! 🏆 😁🚙
