Ford transit 2.0 ecoblue

Customer is a good friend took his van for mot failed on brakes once fitted he called me and said brake pedal was still hard!!! We already knew what the cause was going to be wet belt material was blocking the vacume pump.

This customer had owned this van for about two years and got told that all servicing repairs and the wet belt had been done as it was a ex fleet van we found this to not be the case when van was stripped down and inspected van is a 2018 and on 112000.

Stripped down and inspected original timing cover and sump air filter oil filter all found to be older than when he brought it was last serviced in 2022. This is bad news for wet belts and in general for over all health of vehicles.

✅ OE sump
✅ OE timing cover
✅ new crank shaft pulley
✅ strainer throughly cleaned
✅ all surfaced and areas cleaned
✅ new genuine vacuum pump
✅ new oil filter
✅ correct grade oil
✅ new fuel filter
✅ new air filter
✅ new dust and pollen filter
✅ new stretch belt

Noted some issue to customer too book in and get sorted previous things that have been broke and fixed

Found that one of the hand brake cables had snapped off the calliper bracket, unfortunately they only sell these cables in twos as a unit.
